Chapter -26

Neil froze in his tracks hearing for the first time from his angel. Shock was evident on his face.

" Avni... did you say something?? " Neil asked still confused.

Avni noded and cupped his face and looked in his eyes and told

" Neil , I love you."

Time stopped for a moment for Neil. He felt something new and didn't know what to do. He stood there like a statue for a minute.

Avni shook him slowly to come out of the trance.
He jerked from his wonderland and hugged her in excitement.

" Thank you thank you. I don't know what to do or what to say." Neil blabbered like a crazy. He kissed her all over her face.

Avni was happy that finally she confessed her feelings . She only knew how many times she rehearsed the same lines to come out perfectly. Her speech is not that perfect till now. But those words were from her heart and it had to be perfect.

Finally Neil looked into her eyes. Both look at each other for a moment.

" How many days I longed to hear these words. I always dreamed of this moment. Am I still dreaming ? If yes then I don't want to wake up from this dream. " Neil talked still looking into her eyes.

" Ouch.." Neil hissed in pain when Avni pinched him on his hand.

"Y.. Yo... You... ree.. no... not .. drea.. dream.. dreaming.." Avni finally completed her broken sentence.

She needed more practice to speak fluently and spontaneously. The therapy did good effects on her.

" From now onwards we will daily have a talking session. May be for an hour or so. I would die to hear you speak ." Neil told her while caressing her hair.

Avni presses her hands against his mouth to stop him talking.Neil looked at her in confusion.

" N.. No.. die.. dying.." Avni told him.

" Chollyy.." Neil told her in guilt.

Avni playfully hit him on his arms to hear such babyish talk from him.

Both started laughing.. hearing the sound Swetha and Bebe rushes to their room.

" What's going on here??" Swetha asked in sleepy tone.

Avni and Neil turned to their sides to see Swetha and Bebe standing at the door.

" Mom ... Avni was telling something that's why we were laughing." Neil replied without thinking and didn't know what was coming.

" Ohh is it?? If it's sooo funny share with us also. We can also laugh." Swetha asked.

Avni and Neil got embarrassed. She looked down on the floor.

" Swetha.. leave the poor kids. They might have talked about their marriage na? That's why they have no answer. Swetha.. you have become soo tube light now a days. They are young couples. They have their own private things. No issues my dears. You continue with your romance. Leave something post marriage also." Bebe also started teasing them making them more embarrassed.
