Chapter-6

Avni's POV

"Oh here comes the queen. Do we need to bow our head in-front of you? Where are your guards? "

I heard Randhir uncle yelling at me. I am sure Rhea has told it in her way to her parents. Why God? Am I that bad that everyone is punishing me?

"We are sending you to college to study not to create your supporters. Stop this studies and you have to marry whom ever we are telling that's final. "

I was beyond shocked to hear that. My dreams everything will come to stop now. Marriage?? But why do I need to marry someone?? Who will that be?
I started pleading them by sign language. But this irked them more.

He started whipping me telling that don't deny his order.
I saw Rhea smirking at me. After he was satisfied he left me there. Rhea came near and me told
" This is what you get for messing with me. Now sit here and be ready to rot in some donkey's house Ms. Topper. "

I ran to my room .My dreams are shattered. Where will I go if I run away from here? I have no one in this world except Randhir uncle and family. I can't become a burden to Sunheri and Tara Sitara. I slept crying.

Khanna Mansion

Neil came back from college. As usual Bebe and his parents were having their tea with snacks .

" How was your day Neil? How is college? Did anyone propose you? I'm sure many girl students will be behind you? " an over excited Swetha enquired .

Neil- " Mom"

Bebe - " Swetha... You tell me how was your day? How is the students there? "

Neil - " it was good " telling this he went to his room.

Prakash- " Seems like something has happened to him. But what is it? "

Bebe- "I will find out soon. Don't worry"

Bebe reaches Neil's room.

Neil has changed into track pants and T-shirt. Bebe knocks on the door.

Neil - " From when did you started to knock on my door waiting for my permission Bebe?"

Bebe- " When you started hiding things from us "
Neil - " Bebe . Nothing like that "

Bebe - " Then why are you upset?  Tell me son "

Neil - " Bebe thaaaat'sssss "

Bebe - " Don't worry son tell me anything. You can tell me . I will find solution. Any love matter? Why fear when Bebe is here . "

Neil- " Bebe there is a student in my class . She is totally in trouble. Her guardians are torturing her . She lost her parents along with her speaking ability. Since then she has lost all her happiness. She is topper in college . She is doing part time jobs so that in future she can start a school for poor children. She has got a golden heart Bebe. "

Bebe- " You  love her don't you? But you saw her today only right?"

Neil- " No Bebe . I saw her a week back in signal. She was helping an old lady to cross the road . She was feeding street children with happiness and I felt an attraction towards her. I thought she was a happy go lucky girl. But she is in trouble Bebe. She doesn't even open up with anyone. She can't even stand for herself. I felt a pain in my heart when her friend told about her Bebe. " he explained Bebe about what What he knew from Sunheri .

Bebe- " Go son get her . Help her out of that hell. It's not easy that someone attracts my Tillu's heart. She is special for sure. I will do anything for you. What do you want ? "

Neil- " Can you help me to learn sign language so that I can converse with her?"

Bebe- " My friend Girija can help you . I will talk to her ."

Neil - " Thank you Bebe. "

Bebe - " Oii.. shut up . No sorry and thank you in friendship. I'm your friend right? "

Neil smiled and kissed Bebe's cheek and ran into the bathroom.

Bebe chuckles -" Has gone mad in love "

Next Day

Neil reaches college hoping to meet Avni.
In the class while taking attendance he found that Avni is absent. He takes class and bid bye to students.

In his cabin

Sunheri- " May I come in sir ?"

Neil - " Yes Sunheri. Come in . What happened? "

Sunheri- " Sir , Avni "

Neil - " what happened to her ? She didn't come to class also today."

Sunheri- " After Avni reaches home yesterday after the tuition Rhea told what happened to her parents in her version. Her uncle beat her with whip and he asked her not to go to college thereafter. She is so shattered. If someone interrupts then she will be punished more. I don't know whom to contact. "

Neil - " Sunheri. Thank you dear. You are her true friend. I can deal them. You go to your class. Don't worry everything will be alright."

Neil went to principal's cabin

Neil - " Sir may I come in please."

Principal- " Please come in Mr.Khanna"

Neil - " Sir Avni from 3rd year B.A English literature  did not come to college today."

Principal- " Students take leave some days Mr. Khanna. It's normal. "

Neil - " Sir this is not the case here . According to the information I got she is being tortured in her home. She is not treated well. Now she is barred from coming to college by her uncle. "

Principal- " What?? I never knew she is facing such issues . She is topper in her class and is scholarship recipient too which students with real talents only get. We have to do something ."

Neil - " Sir , can you go to her house and talk to her relatives and convince them to send her back to college please. Make sure you don't spill about torture issues else she will be tortured more." 

Principal- " Sure Mr. Khanna. I can do that for my student . You are taking your "lecturer " job seriously I must say . A real teacher . Proud of you. "

Neil - " it's my duty sir "

Principal- " She has been studying here for 3 years and nobody knew her problems.I failed as her principal too."

Neil - " Sir how many students' problem will you look into unless been told. It's not your mistake."

Principal- " I will go now itself to her house."

Neil - " Thank you sir . Sir make sure my name is not included in this issue due to our policy. "

Principal- " Sure Mr. young man "

And he left to Avni's house.
