Chapter: 3

Ira's POV

So it's official! Rikka and I are finally together!!!! This has got to be the best things that has ever happened to me! (Actually it is..)

We continued blushing for what seemed like forever ...

Until Rikka finally spoke up.

"So... I'm guessing that you have to go now.." she said, sadly.

I just remembered that I had to go back to the hideout. I really wanted to stay with her, but I couldn't risk letting the secret out.

I frowned, "Believe me Rikka, I really would love to stay.. but-

"Don't worry, I completely understand" she interrupted

"Thank you"

"Is it alright if I can meet with you tomorrow..?" She asked

My heart raced (Darn, I hate it when that happens -\\\\\- )

"S-Sure" I stammered, "where should I meet you..?"

"Hmm... how about the beach?" She said, giving me a sly grin

"The first place we met" I smiled, "I say that it's perfect"

"7am?"

"Sure"

"Then it's settled" she leaned toward me and gave me a kiss "goodbye"

We broke free and I waved to her. Then, I teleported.

Rikka's POV

Finally! The hours are up!! I can see Ira again!!

I quickly got up and looked at the time

6:15 !!! I better hurry!

I raced down the stairs, dodging every wall (I wasn't about to get a concussion 😉)

I made it to the kitchen, only to stop dead in my tracks.

"Rikka? What's the hurry?" my mom asked

Oh right.. she's back home..

"Sorry mom" I said, "I'm supposed to be meeting a friend at the beach"

"What for?"

Gotta think gotta think!!!

"Well.. later today I'm going to meet Mana and the others. One of my friends from school needed help on.. math! Yes, Math homework. I volunteered to help" I was kinda having second thoughts on my lie

"Oh... alright then" said my mom

I breathed a sigh of relief as I took my place on the table

"You have to work at the office today mom?" I asked, half eating my pancakes

"Unfortunately I have to work overtime again today" she said

"Oh.." I replied

"Don't worry Rikka, I will try and come home as soon as possible"

"No worries mom" I said, "what about dad?"

"He's not coming home anytime soon" she said

"Well... this isn't the first time this had happened. So I'm fine with that" I said

"I'm so sorry Rikka"

"It's okay! I'm used to it by now" i continued eating my pancakes as my mom disappeared upstairs to change

By the time she cane down, I had finished my pancakes. I gave her a kiss and she left.

Next, I rushed upstairs to change. I put on my dress and I grabbed my hat. I rushed back down the stairs again

"Rikka? Where are you going ~Quel?" asked Raquel

I turned to see him floating by the stairs. I sighed and went up to him. I held my pinkie to him.

"Promise you won't tell the others?" I asked

"Sure" he agreed

"You have to really promise me, hold out your pinkie" I said

"But I don't- oh right" Raquel transformed into his human form and he held out his pinkie

"I sincerely promise not to tell a single soul about this" he said

"Good" I took a deep breath.

"Ira and I.... are meeting up...." I blurted

"WHAT!???"

"SHH!!!" I covered his mouth so that he wouldn't scream anymore. Mana's my neighbour so me night winder what's wrong.

"Raquel!" I hissed

"Sorry.."

"Now.. listen carefully.." I began, "it seems that your little 'joke' yesterday turned out to be true"

"B-But I was only joking" Raquel muttered. "So... when did this happen?"

"Ira and I have been having deep thoughts on this... so... yesterday we decided... to make this serious"

"Oh... wow.."

"Please Raquel! Don't tell anyone about this"

"Don't worry I won't... but.."

"But what?"

"Mana and the others are your friends... you shouldn't hide a secret from them"

"Believe me.. I would very much love to tell them... but... take Aguri-chan for an example... she almost tried to attack him..."

"Yeah but, she only did that to boost up your powers!"

"But-

"Rikka! Remember when Aguri was framed by Regina? And you got worried about Ira? So you took him home?"

"Yes.."

"Didn't you hear the other Cures? They agreed with you!"

"..."

"Don't think of it as something you can tell them. You trust them, they trust you! It's only better if you let this off your chest!"

"Raquel I would love to tell them but-

"But what?"

"HOW WOULD IRA FEEL!!!?"

I completely burst out. Raquel looked at me with a blank face.

"I-I'm Sorry Raquel..."

"It's okay Rikka, I understand that your stressed"

"Thank you"

"I'll still keep it a secret but... remember what I said okay?"

"Sure"

Then I finished putting on my shoes and I left.
