Getting started

( CAMERON'S POV )

I hold onto Ali, we look around and listen to the sirens. We weren't really sure what to do.

"Cameron, it's really windy."

I nodded. Infact it's extremely windy. I look out the window and the street lights showed the wind gusts all around.

The siren continues.

We never hear sirens anymore, so we can't put our fingers on what it's about.

Ali switched the TV on and it immediately went to the news channel.

"As quick as you can get into a room without any windows, make sure it's comfy, because by the looks of this storm you will be in there for quite a while. " The news reporter said.

We found out that the hurricane is even worse then they expected, it's causing tons of tornadoes, and it's not long before it hits us. A Tornado touched down about 15 miles away.

We took the little TV and radio out of her mini closet, then headed down stairs to the basement. We hooked up the TV and radio and just sat down shocked.

"Let's get some blankets , pillows, food, And some water bottles" I suggested.

I helped a Shaking Ali up the ladder, we grabbed tons of blankets and pillows, we threw them down and Ali stayed down to set it up for us.

I got 15 bottles of water, Chips, bread,and some canned food.

Ali helped me stack it against the wall before we turned on the TV and settled down. I lifted the ladder to the basement so it would be safer, and it was cooler.

After about half an hour of sitting Ali had trouble breathing.

"Cameron I need my inhaler.." Ali said.

"You can't go back up there it's dangerous, did you not hear the bells?"

"Cameron I'll be quick."

"No Ali let me come with you.."

Ali quietly giggled , "Just stay I'll be fine."

She kissed me and I helped her get the ladder down.

I waited down here for a long time.

I'm starting to get worried.

I heard a thump but I should just trust Ali.

" massive Tornado touches down 5 miles east from _____"

the TV cut out.

Shit what if it's by us?

How do I tell Ali?

I don't know where she is.
