Shiros pov
I hear a woosh and catch Pidge as she falls from the pod. I hold her tightly and closer than I ever had before.
"Katie..." I whispered and let out a breathy chuckle. "I missed you so damn much..."
"Takashi! Language!" She said with a giggle. I missed that giggle.
"Oh sorry, I meant so fucking much." She giggled and leaned her head on mine.
"H-how long was I in the pod?"
"Over a month." I answered sadly. A small gasp left her lips. "I-I was so worried I wasn't going to see you again."
"W-Well I'm right here and I promise that I won't leave your side." Pidge cupped my cheeks and pecked my lips repeatedly making me laugh. "Now I'm really hungry so let's go get some food." She said trying to stand but falling.
"Careful love." I said catching her. She looked down at her leg and her eyes went wide.
"M-My..." I could see the tears forming.
"P-please don't cry, I promise we can find a way to fix this." I said pulling her tightly against my chest in a hug.
"W-Was there any other major damage?"she asked biting her lip to hold back her tears.
"Other than your leg and greens broken interior no." I said picking her up.
"Good." She said nuzzling into me.
Pidge's (your) POV
As we made our way to the kitchen you thought about your baby girl, what if she doesn't remember your her mom? What if she was hurt in the battle? Did anyone take care of her? Did you miss her first word? Her first steps? Your mind was racing.
"Babe calm down," shiro said kissing your head. "You've got nothing you need to worry about."
"I-I... ok..." you say in defeat as you enter the kitchen.
