2 days after Yejin's father got married, her father searched for a nice resident to live in and found one. well, it's for Yejin and Donghyuk since they're both busy with work. that's why Yejin's mother wanted divorce, he's insanely obsessed with work, a full time workaholic. but for today, they both decided to help them unpack their stuff.
"here we are" The driver parked the car in front of the huge gate.
"Donghyuk-ah, Yejin-ah" Father smirked and caught their attention, he grabbed his new wife's hand and squeezed it "welcome to your new home"
All of them went out the car. Yejin and Donghyuk was nervous and excited to see the new house. they were shocked when they saw the huge gate, it looks like a castle. it was new for Donghyuk, his old house was not huge, but it was modern and well sculpted. As for Yejin, Her old house was fancy and huge, but the new one's larger, even though they're the only ones living there.
"here's the key, press this button to open the gate and reveal the house" Father handed the key to Donghyuk "if you're ready, press it, son"
Donghyuk looked at Yejin and grabbed her hand. They locked eyes then nodded. Donghyuk pressed the button and the gate slowly open, revealing the beautiful house.
"it's so beautiful" Donghyuk mumbled in shocked.
"it's too huge" Yejin replied, mumbling too.
"here's a spare key, for Yejin. please take good care " Father handed the key to Yejin "now, let's go back in the car, park it in the garage and start unpacking"
They went in the house, the bodyguards carried their luggage to their room while they had a tour around the house.
the house had a beautiful dinning room, but that's useless. they will never have the time, to eat dinner together.
The house had a large pool and Libary too, since Yejin likes swimming and reading books.
The house had a gym for Donghyuk, since he likes working out and a huge dance room for him to practice. There are 6 rooms. one for Yejin, One for Donghyuk. the other 4 rooms are empty.
They went in their room once the finished the tour. Yejin was unpacking her clothes, it wasn't many, since she threw most out and buy more once they get comfortable with the surrounding. Her father came in her room and sat on her couch.
"yejin-ah" her father paused and Yejin stopped what she was doing, sat down with him.
"yes ? is there something wrong ?" Yejin asked with a concern look
"no, nothing's wrong" He smiled widely, with his eyes smiling too "let's start a new life, a better one. i know it's hard to let go of your mother, it's been 8 years. Please accept your new mother"
"i'll try" Yejin replied softly with a smile.
"we both won't be home a lot, we'll probably find a house closer to the office. the company's launching a new car so i'll be busy" He sighed tiredly "Please behave yourself, Your brother will take care of you and drive you to school. i'll send $6000 to your bank account every month, use it wisely. i provided a bodyguard that could drive you around too"
"and you'll be working ?" Yejin clenched her teeth a bit as she was a little angry
"yes, so please listen to your brother" He replied and looked down
"oh, don't worry about me. i can live by myself" Yejin stated clearly with a smile.
"of course you can, you're independent" He hugged Yejin "we're leaving, i love you"
"i love you too, Dad" Yejin response
"i'll call you and visit you sometimes" He said and let her go
