it was almost sundown and Hanbin decided to watch the sun set. He drove with his roofless Mercedes to a beach filled with couples and families. Luckily Hanbin brought some mats to sit on. They both wouldn't want to ruin their perfectly beautiful outfit.
They sat down next to each other, waiting for the moment. Hanbin kissed her soft cheeks and whispered sweet things into her ears ; saying how much he loves her. She chuckled adorably like a small baby. it made Hanbin smile widely, as his eyes travel around her face; admired her goddess-like beauty.
"oh my god~" Hanbin breathed out as he admires her features one by one.
"what ? a-are you okay ?" Yejin looked around to see if something wrong happened then met his beautiful shining eyes "Hanbin ?"
"you're beautiful" Hanbin caresses her cheeks and burst into a small yet cute chuckle " i can't believe you're mine"
"only yours" Yejin added with a smirk.
"yes, my love. only mine" Hanbin smacked her lips passionately.
"Hanbin.." Yejin then said, making the situation a little bit serious "i'm worried for Aera"
"our princess ? why ?" Hanbin raised his brows worriedly "is something bothering you, baby ?"
"no~ but i just want to ask..have i been good to her ? as a mother ?" Yejin paused "did i raise her well ?"
"hey, hey" Hanbin stopped her from overthinking and calmed her down with a smile "you're amazing. besides, look at her. She grew up well disciplined, talented and smart. that's all because of you"
"are you sure ?" Yejin pouted.
"of course, i'm sure" Hanbin nodded "you care about her no matter how far she is. and you're capable of doing anything. including parenting"
"Thank you so much Hanbin" Yejin embraced him out of the blues "you made me extremely happy. You and Aera's my source of happiness, you know that ?"
"i'm glad you're happy, because that's my main purpose; to make you and our princess happy and protect both of you" Hanbin hugged back.
"but, i'm scared" Yejin starts to overthink again.
"scared of what ?" Hanbin loosen the hug to look deeply into her eyes.
"what if we don't end up togethe-" Yejin couldn't finish her sentence.
"no~i swear yejin. i'll make you mine and have a bigger happy family. i promise, baby" Hanbin reassured her with a peck "don't worry"
"i love you~" Yejin kissed him "please don't leave"
"i won't" Hanbin kissed her cheeks "i'm so sorry, i actually left the camera in the car, i'll go get it, okay ?"
"alright, i'll be here" Yejin smiled as Hanbin stand up and jogged away.
Yejin scanned through her surrounding, admiring the fresh air and the lovable atmosphere. the sun hasn't set yet.
Suddenly, someone stood next to her. She looked up to meet the face. and it was Mr.Seo.
"oh~Mr.Seo !" Yejin stood up and bowed "you're here too !!"
"hello, ms.Yejin" He greeted with a smile "where's sir.Hanbin ?"
"He went to the car" Yejin replied happily.
"and you're sitting here alone ? that's not safe ma'am" He paused "why don't we go for a walk, once we get back here, he'll be back"
"shouldn't we just wait ?" Yejin got a little nervous as she was scared Hanbin thought she left.
"we can explain to sir once we get back" Mr.Seo kept convincing and he successfully managed to convince her.
They went for a walk, around the beach.
"how's your day ?" Mr.Seo asked to avoid awkwardness.
"i had a blast. today's very exciting and wonderful, thank you for asking" Yejin paused "how about you ?"
"well, i had a great time at work. spent my evening well with my wife and children" Mr.Seo replied with a smile.
"oh~ is your family here too ?" Yejin asked.
"not really, the atmosphere caught my attention. It's really beautiful here when it's almost sunset" Mr.Seo explained.
"true, it really is beautiful" Yejin sighed satisfyingly.
they started walking back to where Hanbin and Yejin sat. but on the way there, She froze. The surrounding had changed. There were lighted candles, red petal pathway, a group of musicians; violinist and Lastly, Hanbin with a huge smile on his face.
Mr.Seo disappeared from her side, leaving her with no choice; but to walk to Hanbin. She slowly walk to Hanbin, loving every detail. She stopped right in front of him.
"my baby, we've been together for almost 4 years now. you stayed with me through my ups and downs, you made me feel loved, cheered me up, support me and make me laugh. Thank you so much for everything, my love. i can never repay you. Happy 43rd Monthsarry, i love you Kim Yejin" He paused "but this is not the end.."
he kneeled down.
pulled out a box.
and opened it, revealing the most beautiful ring ever.
Yejin closed her mouth in surprise.
"Kim yejin, will you marry me ?"
"Yes !" Yejin nodded her head as she closed her mouth, crying happily.
Hanbin stood up and hugged her tight.
"i love you~"
Hanbin slid the ring on her finger and everyone showed up. Yejin's family ; her mother, her stepmother, her father, her younger sister and her Stepbrother. Hanbin's family; his mother, his father, his little sister and Aera. They all cheered happily and surrounded the newly engaged partner.
"Eomma ! appa !" Aera ran to them and joined the hug.
