At the homespace, Blake and Lon were talking to Lyrelle and Kuro. Even though they were talking casually, they were still keeping a lookout in case worst case scenario happened.

Lon was getting better and better. His shyness decreased as his comfort increased. He found home in the residence, and he never stopped improving.

He started to let go of the past and thought more about the present instead. Worrying about the future was not a good idea for Lon. Mother was a disintegrated concept in his head. So was his fear. The fire of his fear is being extinguished by Blake and the others. Lon regained his… passion.

A person like Kuro was unthinkable to Lon at first, since he originally lived in a closed environment. Kuro was neither male, nor female. He was an enby. Not as common in Humans, Romulans, or Clippans as other species, but these people fascinated Lon. Lon loved Kuro, but not in the same way he loved Blake.

Lyrelle was also fascinating to Lon. She looked more Romulan than human unlike Kuro. Lyrelle and Kuro were also siblings, but not necessarily twins. Clippan families could only have one child unless a difficult process happened before reproduction. It was an egg restock process and Mother couldn’t do it because she was so worried about Lon.

Blake and Lon shared the same curiosity about other species now. The fear that once in Lon’s heart was now a passion in learning about the universe and its contents.

This was a never imagined miracle. Lon was finally coming out of his inner shell and into a world of infinite possibilities. A world full of knowledge and diversity. Like Axis. But it didn’t pierce Lon’s heart.
