The sound of screeching chairs can be heard through the wall and I look down at my hands so that I won't see Jimin when he opens the door. Instead, a darker hand grabs mine. I stare up as we lurch forward. "Taehyung? What are we doing?" I ask as he drags me out. "I'll explain later." He says, his red hair dancing lightly. When we've walked around five or six hallways Taehyung throws my back on a wall and slams his hand next to my head. "Did you sleep with him?! Or did he just bite you?!" He yells. I've never seen this side of him before. The daunting look in his eye, daring me to lie. As well as the invisible steam coming off his chest. I look away from his eyes and whisper, "Both". He shoves away from the wall and kicks it, running his hand through his hair angrily. "Do you love him?" He whispers, not looking at me. "I...I don't know. I don't think so. He controls emotions, right? I...I don't even know him technically. He drugged me at the party and I don't really know what happened." I say quietly. All of a sudden, he runs up and hugs me, a tear landing on my shoulder. "I've missed you so much, an...and I wanted to be the one who told you about everything, because I knew you hated Jimin. And all those ye...years I hated not being able to talk to you or see you." He says, and I grip onto the back of his shirt tightly. "I forgive you Taehyung, I understand what happened. Thank you for looking out for me as best as you could." I say and he back away. "Really?" He asks, and I nod. His famous box smile spread across his face. "Alright then, lets go get you changed." He says.
I step out of the bathroom slowly. "I don't know about this one. It's really tight." I say but Taehyung claps his hands off. "No! Its perfect!" He says, jumping up and down. "What exactly am I going to be doing in this outfit?" I ask him. "Training" He says. "Now come on, look at yourself in the mirror!" Taehyung grabs my hand and pulls me over a few rooms. Nothing hangs on their walls and the colorless concrete goes on forever it seems like. A splash of color appears on a door, it's pink. Taehyung flashes me a grin and leads me inside. "Dang this is a lot of pink" I say. Jimin could hide in here like a plushie, I'd never see him. A tall man appears from behind a wall and warmly smiles. "You must be Jess. Am I correct?" He asks politely. I nod my head 'yes' in reply. "Good, nice to meet you. My name is Kim Seokjin but most everyone I like Calls me Seokjin. You can come sit." He says, gesturing to a chair around the corner. I sit down on the swivel chair and he starts right away. His long fingers gently place pieces of foil under strands of hair and then paint them with a pastel mocha paste. Then they curl and fold the pieces into little sandwiches. We don't say anything as he continues this process again and again. Taehyung just lays on Seokjin's bed, doing something on his phone. After what feels like hours, he finally starts pulling them all back out. The process of dying one's hair is so long, if this wasn't a necessity. I would never choose to do it. Seokjin runs off to his dresser for a second and comes back with an eye mask. I raise my eyebrow at his reflection. He just places it on my eyes and continues to take pieces of foil out. When all of them are out, it feels like pounds have been lifted off my shoulders. They probably have been. The sound of blow dryer fills my ears and Seokjin's long fingers graze my head, pulling on random strands to dry them mechanically. When the drying is finished, I go to pull on the mask but Seokjin slaps harshly at my hand. "I'm not done yet! It's not every day I get this opportunity." He says, and I place my hands back in my lap in defeat. The familiar tug of hair tells me that he's lightly curling and waving my hair. 'I wonder when the last time he got to primp a girl was. He looks like he went to beauty school. 'I'm sure he'll do my hair better than I can' I think to myself. After a few more minutes he sighs happily. "Okay Jess. Close your eyes. You too Taehyung." He says. The mask is slowly pulled off my face, so dramatic. "Alright, open them." He says and we both gasp.
The color and style fitsperfectly with what we were going for. I was envisioning a horrendous blue thatlooked like a messy mop on my head, but this is beautiful. "Seokjin you nailedit!" I say. "I know, I know. I work miracles, now both of you go on. I have toget dressed for our meeting. See you guys downstairs." He says, shoving me and Taehyungout. "We've still got like, twenty minutes. How long does he take to change?" Iask Taehyung. "Um, a while. Wow, you look. Amazing." Taehyung says. I look downat the floor shyly. "Thanks." I say. "I-..." Taehyung gets cut off by his phoneringing. "You should probably answer that" I say after he just stares at me. Heangrily answers it. "What?" he says. "She's with me, we just finished... No Iwon't leave her alone... okay fine but you better be there in less than fiveminutes or I will find you." He finishes, hanging up his phone. "I'm going tohave to go do something, but I have a place that you can wait. Jimin will bethere shortly." He says, turning and walking in the other direction. I boltquickly in order to catch up to his long strides. After a minute in coldsilence he stops and opens a door. "Will you lock me inside?" I ask him. "No,but I need you to stay here. It's a big warehouse and we need to get yourpictures done soon. Aish I have to go, bye." He says and bolts away. "Should'velocked the door if you wanted me to stay here."
