"Jess, Jess wake up." I hear as a hand lightly shakes me. "what" I moan and refrain from opening my eyes. "I brought you fooood." My body finds a way as I sit straight up, running into a hard something known as Jimin. "Uh, ow?" He says, and I chuckle. then sets a tray next to me with lots of food on it, breakfasts items. "Vampires still have to eat food?" I ask. "Um, no. But that doesn't stop us. We can, we just don't have to." He says, and I nod my head, diving in to the plates. "Who made this? It's so good!" "Seokjin did, he's the cook of the group." I nod my head and continue eating. Jimin just sits there in the awkward silence and conversation isn't my forte. The wall finds a way to fascinate my interest, it's random spacing of drywall dots seeming endlessly entertaining all of a sudden.
We both ate in silence and he disappeared after that, returning with a body suit. The color is just black, but it has my name etched into the breast and two patches on the left arm, one pink and one white. The left arm has a thin strip patch saying, "Rank 5". I go into the bathroom and change into it, staring at the finished product in the mirror. It's made out of some stretchy, durable fabric that slipped right onto me and hugs me in all the right places. I frown at the black and smile as an idea hits me. I let some fog come off of my neck and bare feet, making sure not to let it touch the fabric, yet. The streaks that come off my feet push up my Calf, leaving a swirling white design and I will it to dissipate. The neck smoke swirls down my left side, viable from both my back and my front. I grab the combat boots and put them on my feet, turning them white too. As I step out of the bathroom Jimin looks at me in silence. "You're really going to stand out like a sore thumb" He says. "So? I'm a beginner in a rank 5, two powered, new, and bonded to a member. How the hell am I not already going to stand out. Better make it easier for them to find me, right?" I say cockily. Jimin snorts and looks down at his hands and then back up at me. He changed into a training suit as well. You can slightly tell that the white patch is new. Mine are evenly spaced but his are uneven. "Will you promise to stay with me?" I ask quietly. He nods and stands up from the bed, embracing me. "We're each one part of a whole. Got it? I'll never leave you again. I will never do anything to hurt you again, ever." He says, hugging me tighter just to let go a second later.
We start walking down the hallways and Jimin starts giving me tips on what's going to happen. "So we're going to be training together, me being your trainer but we have to be in the same compound as your rank. Once I say you're ready you'll move up to six and I'll intensify your training. Once you reach rank seven, you're a member and that's what we have planned for you. That'll take some time though. You need trained in your powers and with a gun. And you also need lessons on high society etiquette, plus you need to learn about all the other gangs and our relationships, and you need a little strategy practice." He says, arriving at a set of thick metal doors. "That's a lot to get done" I say, and he nods. When we stride in, the whole room stops to stare at us. Jimin pulls me by my wrist to an empty training area, but the room continues. They're lots of dark blues and browns and reds with a few yellows and light blues. Black, pink, purple, and silver must be rare ones, with yellow being in between. When we reach the quiet corner, Jimin starts. We're first going to work with emotions, and then you can tell me what you know about your powers.
"I've asked Taehyung to come help us with this too, well I technically asked all the members. He should be here soon. Before we start working with him though, I'll give you a run down. There're different things you can do with this power. You can make someone feel strongly about something. As in, you can make someone hate something so much that they'll destroy it on their own. But, when you directly influence them that way, the emotion only lasts while you're forcing it upon them. The other way is to implant it in their soul, which is a harder technique. When you do this, the emotion stays there until you take it out. It's also extremely hard for an empath to take another's implant out unless they have a connection with that empath. Sibling, bonded, etc." Right after he says this Taehyung shows up on our side of the compound. "Woah, nice hair." He said. Earlier this month I had questioned how he felt for me and if he had feelings for me, based on that incident after I got changed and slept with Jimin. But now, I could feel his heart. He felt brotherly, friendly love towards me, and boy it was strong. He was worried for me then because he wasn't sure that Jimin was the right thing for me at that time. "Jess. Jess?" I hear, and I'm brought back from my zone out session. "Sorry." I said. "You could feel me, couldn't you?" Taehyung asked, and I nod. "That's wicked cool" he replies. "Shut up Taehyung I need both you and her to focus here." He snaps at him loudly. "Now Taehyung, stand still and be quiet. Jess, I want you to make him hate something." He says. "Well how do I do that?" I ask. "You said you felt him earlier, you could sense how he felt. Take that sense and feel the hate yourself while thinking about his feelings. It'll force the feeling onto him." Jimin replies.
I close my eyes, imagining invisible fingers reaching out to Taehyung again. The world isn't dark when my eyes are closed. Instead, I can sense everything that has emotions in the room, even a few rooms over. I focus in on Taehyung, he's nervous and mad at Jimin. I remember there being weights lined against the wall next to us. That seems like a good thing to hate, who likes lifting weights. I think of how much I could hate lifting weights and let it fill me. Fueling the fire, funny expression that is. I literally am fueling the fire here, Taehyung being the fire. My eyes fly open to the sound of breaking glass along with some screaming. Taehyung's in the corner, throwing every weight in the room against things, breaking them. A small fire has started too. "Okay now, stop it." Jimin says. "I can't!" I yell. "Well I can't either, so you better stop it before he destroys the training room for rank five." He says, very emotionless may I add for an empath. I reach out for Taehyung again, trying to take the hate back. But when I open my eyes, he's still throwing things and screaming while Rank five is filing out of the doors at a fast pace. "It's too strong." I say. "What do you mean? It's your first time, you should hardly be able to make him feel strongly about anything. It should be easy to take it back." Jimin says, worry lacing his tone. The shock of recognition registers all over his face and he runs over to Taehyung. Tackling him, Jimin places his hand on top of Taehyung's chest as he still tries to throw the weights. A bright burst of extremely bright light pink fills the room and Taehyung stops struggling.
"Wh..what happened?" Taehyung says, disoriented. I had run over towards them after the pink burst. "Yeah, what did happen?" I ask as well. "Jess, you implanted in Taehyung." He says, still in slight shock. "What?! I thought you said that was only for advanced?" I say. "You're more powerful than we realized. You have more than enough power to implant but not enough control to un-do the implant." He says. "Oh, wow" Taehyung says. "Now could you get off of me Jimin?" He continues. He jumps off of Taehyung like eggs, scrambled and runny. "Okay, so we need to work on control. Got it." He mumbles to himself.
