Sleep hadn't come to Bakugou as quickly as it did for you. His thoughts were still brewing around what you had said to him earlier.
"...there was this monster, this thing that I...it was in front of me and...well, it looked like me."
You were right. It did sound insane. But in a world where super humans were born every day, it was frighteningly plausible.
Perhaps the smartest thing to do right then was to act cautiously. He reminded himself to tell you this in the morning when he turned to see you dozed off. His cheeks reddened with embarrassment as he caught himself staring at the starry freckles dimming and brightening along with the rhythm of your breathing. Bakugou didn't know why but the colorful constellations on your flesh were incredibly beautiful to him (a word he would never use out loud) and he couldn't help but admire.
You seemed so peaceful now, sleeping soundly with not a crinkle of worry on your face. It was hard to believe that someone this calm had undergone something traumatic tonight. You two were also still on the rocks since the fight which probably didn't help your emotional state.
That was, assuming you cared enough to let it affect you.
Bakugou didn't want to be the only one feeling conflicted, so he secretly hoped it did. This was another thing he'd have to address tomorrow...
For now though, he lay next to you watching the flurry of colors dance across your skin until it slowly began to dim. Everything went black as the hazy embrace of sleep overtook him.

You knew you were awake when your senses returned to your body but you still refused to open your eyes. Exhaustion from last night and the seduction of sleep prevented you from doing so. However, the cold surface underneath you definitely broke that sweet spell. Perhaps it was time to get up. Drowsy eyed and with a yawn, you sat up.
You were there in a bit of a daze when a loud shout caused you to jump.
"(l/n)!? Damn it, where the fuck are you!?"
You heard thunderous footsteps run down the stairs and screech to a halt as rage induced blond looked around in a frenzy until he spotted you. The disheveled Bakugou stood there with a look of alarm. "WHAT THE FUCK, YOU BRAT!? DON'T RUN OFF LIKE THAT!" He bellowed angrily.
You glanced around and realized you were on the floor in your kitchen. The teen let out a sigh of annoyance. "What the fuck are even doing down here, glow stick?"
You yawned again and got up. "Well my quirk requires me to recharge everyday with some sunlight so sometimes my body goes on auto pilot and poof! I wake up on the floor."
"So you're basically a house plant."
"Nah, I have anxiety."
Bakugou rolled his eyes. "So what are we doing now?" His expression changed to one of amused confusion. "You look like a mess."
You hummed, still tired. Your hair was probably tousled like crazy but you really didn't care. Just then, your stomach growled loudly.
"You hungry?" He questioned. You then realized you hadn't eaten since yesterday afternoon.
"Maybe," You shrugged sheepishly.
"Do you have anything here?"
"Uh, no. Actually, that's why I was out yesterday. To get food."
Bakugou shook his head. "Go get changed, brat. We're heading out."
A little smirk spread across your lips. "Aye, sir," You saluted with a chuckle.
