It was a few minutes before the day begun and the class was in their morning chatters. Aizawa had yet to arrive so you all took the opportunity to liberate yourselves from your assigned seating and wander; although there were a few such as yourself that remained at their desks. You sat on the table top with your feet on Midoriya's chair as you absentmindedly played with his hair. You had asked for permission of course but despite that the freckled boy was still blushing madly.

"You have such a nice, silky texture to your hair!" You complimented. His curly green locks had looked inviting before but they were even more fun as you ran your finger through them.

He laughed, nervousness lacing his timbre."T-thanks!" His cheeks were a deep, deep red. Never had a girl willingly played with his hair like you were doing. Much less one as pretty as you. It also didn't help that he was kinda crushing on you from afar. But it wasn't his awkwardness nor his inability to talk to girls that was his problem.

Actually yes it was.

But aside from that, the reason he would never be able to approach you was because you were friends with Katsuki. You two were always together even if you were mostly bickering. The way Katsuki looked at you and the way he looked at him made Midoriya weary of getting close to you.

Although, Katsuki had certainly become tamer since his friendship with you... maybe, just maybe, he could get over his fear of confrontation and talk to you more?

"You do have a unique hairstyle!" Uraraka chimed in from next to you. Mina sat on the desk where the brunette was with her phone in her hand. "Say cheese!" She grinned, snapping a photo of you and the stammering boy.

"I better not be in that picture, pinky," Bakugou warned from where he was turned around in his chair.

"Relax, grumpy, you're not." Mina stuck her tongue at him before showing you the picture. "You look really cute in your uniform like that!"

You found a smile spreading on your lips because for once you actually liked a photo of yourself. Midoriya appeared like a dear in headlights but it just made him more adorable.

You were asking her to send you the picture when Bakugou scoffed and rolled his eyes. "You both look like idiots."

"You're just jealous 'cause you secretly wanted to be in it," You teased back.

Katsuki scowled in response, but remained in his quiet grumbled state, head lowered onto his arms that rested over the chair. He didn't like the way you fawned over Deku, and he especially disliked the way your legs were pressed up against him. The green haired boy was so red from your touch and proximity it made Katsuki's stomach turn uncomfortably.

"Alright! Everyone get to your seats!" Aizawa hollered as soon as he spotted his disorganized classroom. Everyone scattered obediently as the unkempt man reached his desk. "First order of business today and for the rest of the week, UA will be holding its annual Sports Festival."

Gasps and squeals reverberating in a wave across the students. You yourself were anxiously chewing your nail waiting to hear more.

"Are you sure about that...?" Mineta asked timidly. "We had a villain attack not too long ago, not to mention (l/n)'s antics were plastered all over the news. Wouldn't ignoring all of that make UA look bad?"

You pursed your lips with a glare. "Thanks, Mineta."

"No, actually it's because of these events that we now, more than ever, need to demonstrate that UA's crisis management is sound," Aizawa replied. "In fact the police presence will be five times more this year than in previous years. After all, the Sports Festival is the greatest opportunity you will ever receive as students in this academy."
