The crowd around the classroom had yet to disperse. It was tricky, but the students of Class 1-A managed to squeeze their way through without causing more of a stir. Uraraka, Deku, and Iida were among the few who made it out first.
"Unbelievable! Bakugou has taken it too far this time!" Iida fussed disapprovingly.
"Haha...he is a little outspoken..."
Uraraka nodded. "Yeah, he is...but he's right about one thing. We shouldn't let others discourage us from reaching our goals!"
"Somehow you were able to interpret his words in a more polite manner," Midoriya chuckled.
"I've learned a lot from him since we started training! I think he's just a little harder to read than most." Speaking of which, Bakugou had told her to hang around after school. Practice for the Festival would begin from then on for her. "Hm, where is he anyway?"
She was spying around for his whereabouts when Deku let out a dismal sigh. He quickly followed it up with the clearing of his throat. "Ah, there they are."
The brunette followed the male's gaze and saw you and Bakugou standing in the middle of the hallway. You were pulling your arms away from his torso as he gently made a mess of your hair. Your laughter echoed in the hall while Bakugou returned it with an eye roll. Uraraka noted the fading blush shading his skin.
Were you two together?
As the thought crossed her mind she raised a hand to get your guys' attention. "Hey! Bakugou, (l/n)!"
"Yo! What's up?" You greeted the three of them as they strode over.
"That was highly unacceptable behavior, Bakugou, I must say!" Iida chided at the blond who merely scowled in response.
"Are you two heading home? Maybe we can go together," Midoriya offered you.
"She's with me."
Another voice entered the stage causing all heads to turn. They stared in surprise as Todoroki came up beside you and gave you a nod. "We're still training today, right?"
"Y-yeah, I just need to grab my gym stuff," You replied, clearly taken aback by his abruptness. "I'll see you later, Katsuki?"
He eyed Todoroki curiously but grunted out an affirmation. "Yeah, text me when you get home." He then turned to Uraraka and signaled for her as well. "Come on, round face, we've got training to do."
"Oh you're all busy? You must be taking your training very seriously," Iida commented.
"They're probably trying to get a head start. We should be doing that too," Midoriya said, but it sounded like it was more directed at himself. "Well, best of luck you guys! We'll see you tomorrow!"
Midoriya was always such a sweetheart, you thought to yourself. You gave him a bright smile and waved. "See you tomorrow!" Uraraka said goodbye as well, but Todoroki didn't seem too interested in what he had to say. Katsuki just looked at Midoriya as if he had stepped on his puppy.
The group broke apart their separate ways whilst Uraraka eagerly joined Bakugou by his side. "I can't wait to get started! I'm really pumped for this!" She proclaimed in jubilation.
"Yeah I saw that earlier," Bakugou remarked."So you really wanna help your old folks?"
"Yes! And this is my chance to really shine! If I can get noticed by a Pro...that'd be a dream come true!"
The blond cocked his head with a shrug. "Is' not a bad dream. But can you do it?"
"YES!"
The explosive male smirked as he opened the door to the gym's training room. The brunette didn't even realize how fast they had gotten there. "Good. Now go change. I'll meet you in five."
