This is a spin off of my horror story I'm writing at school!

Blood dripped slowly onto the ground painting the empty streets crimson. Eyes that burned with hatred and lusted blood glowed in the pitch black of the night. Sougo quickly exited the alleyway and began a hunt for a cheap hotel to stay in. He came across an almost run down place and decided this would be where he would spend the night. The name seemed to give off an eery feeling, The Spirit, it did almost seem like it would contain spirits. Sougo smirked remembering people he once knew that were terrified of ghosts. A featureless face appeared in his memories, it was a girl and she had vermillion hair however that was all he could tell. Try as might Sougo could not remember who this girl was. Shrugging it off, he entered the building and saw a vermillion haired girl, Sougo's eyes widened as she smiled at him. He felt as if he was on the verge of remembering something.
"One room, one night," he briefly said and handed the girl the amount of money she asked for. Then she gave him a key and told him which room he'd stay in. Just as Sougo was about leave he felt something touch his arm, it was the girl. How did she get there, a second ago she was behind the counter now she was behind him.
"Are you sure you want to stay here?" She wondered. Something about her question threw Sougo off. Why wouldn't he stay here? Frowning he told her that he was happy to stay in the hotel. With a smile she pulled away. "Don't regret it tomorrow," with those words Sougo began to begin the walk to his room.
On the way Sougo didn't run into any other occupants and it seemed the building was empty as no noises were heard. The dimly lit halls gave birth to shadows creeping and crawling over the walls and sneaking up behind you. The colour of the old rug laid throughout the corridor reminded Sougo of blood. Eventually after arriving as his destination Sougo thrust open the door causing a creak, the room was barely decorated with a bed and a table in a corner and a wardrobe and book shelf in another. There was a window just above the bed with blue curtains drawn back giving the perfect view of the full moon in the sky. Sougo quickly took off his jacket and laid it on the table and with one swift movement collapsed on the bed.
For a little while Sougo had a nice sleep. Everything was peaceful. However at some point during the night the light switched on and a cold breeze spread throughout the room. Groggily Sougo opened his eyes expecting to see the sun in the sky, however only saw the moon. Turning to face his room he saw figures of multiple people. He raised his arm to his eye and began to rub hoping that when he stopped rubbing his eyes they would be gone. The figures were there only closer now. Sougo reached for the sword hidden beneath his jacket on the table next to his bed but before he had time to act the light began to flicker and when they turned on again no one was there. Cautiously Sougo grabbed his sword and debated what to do. In the first place what had happened? Was he still half asleep or was there really people there. If that was the case where did they go?
Vermillion haired girl appeared but Sougo couldn't see her face. He reached for his sword and the girl raised her head. Blue eyes stared at him and his crimson eyes stared back. She began to approach him and Sougo pointed his sword.
"Your supposed to be dead," he narrowed his eyes. The smiled at his statement.
"What do you mean supposed to, I am dead," Kagura couldn't be bothered to act scary anymore so just picked her nose. "Being a ghost is pretty fun, you know," she informed him. "I get to eat free food whenever I want,"
"Oh, so ghosts can eat," Sougo said with his usual monotone voice. "Although of course it'll take a lot more than death to stop a pig like you from eating," Kagura pouted.
"Damn it I cant punch you," she tried but it passed right through. "Tch," The only good thing about that is Sougo can't punch her either. Suddenly Sougo turned serious and he narrowed his eyes at the spirit in front of him. Kagura had died when they were fourteen and ever since Sougo had been seeing her ghost, and now four years later she still looked the same. Kagura would wear her usual chinese clothes that she was wearing the day she died and her hair was tied in two hair accessories.
"Do you know anything about who might of killed you?" Sougo asked. Kagura was murdered. Not by some petty murderer but by an organisation, one that Sougo had been tracking since she appeared to him. Kagura gave a sad smile and shook her head. "Well the guy I just killed was a member but refused to talk, so I still have no idea why they killed you,"
"Sougo," Kagura stopped him from saying anything else. She used his name, which never usually happens. "Stop it," she looked down. "Stop this, forget about me and go live your life," Kagura told him. Sougo refused. "Why do you need to go so far for me?" Kagura demanded.
"Because..... I love you," and with one swift action he kissed her. Somehow through the awesome powers of the author it worked and they kissed, even though Kagura doesn't have a physical body.
"I love you too," she smiled, after breaking the kiss. "But we cant be together, I'm dead," she gave another sad smile. "Goodbye," Kagura began to fade, she was only around because her unfinished business was to tell Sougo how she felt but that she has, Kagura will just move on.
"Wait, don't go, don't leave me," Sougo reached out to grab her but passed right through. He struggled to grab and feel her warmth, although he knew he couldn't, after all she was dead. "Don't go," Sougo whispered, tears streaming down his face.
"I'm not leaving you," Kagura grinned. "I'll always be in your heart, just as you'll always be in mine," Kagura was now almost completely gone. "Love you-aru," She munched on some sukombu as she finally went. Sougo collapsed to floor, feeling like he did when Kagura first died. At first he thought her ghost was her mind playing tricks on him but over time realised she was real, kinda. Sougo let out a yelled of frustration sobbed as he thought about how he lost her again.

Sougo was late for a meeting at his work place and had to run to make it. Vermillion hair passed him on the stairs and he stared at it. Why did it seems so familiar? Without thinking he grabbed the girls arm. She smiled at him with big blue eyes.
"Can I help you?" She wondered. Sougo didn't know what to say, something about this girl seemed familiar but he never met her before. Weird. "Hello," she waved in his face.
"I'll see you at 7 pm after work, otherwise you're fired," Sougo grinned with his usual sadistic grin. He wasn't lying, he did own the company. The girls face turned to shock and she glared at him as he resumed his run up the stairs.
"What's a sadist," She muttered.

In case some of you don't get it, the end was their reincarnations meeting.
