Everything is so hot... it's so uncomfortable. I watched as the skeleton's final blow came my way. Is this the end? Looks like I am dying here... Sorry... Jerome sensei.....Sorry....Mom... I thought as a slowly closed my eyes.
Suddenly, I felt someone grab my body. as I was pulled out of the skeleton's blow. It feels weird...Kind of numb... This electric numbness radiating off of his hand... who is it? Dominik? He....Why? I've been nothing but horrible to him. And yet he is trying to save me. Why would anyone do this?
"hah......hah......Are you alright, Ivy?" his face is shining with sweat. I looked at his arm. Plasma is flowing out of it. He almost didnt get out of the way in time... and his sweat....he must be really stressed.... This idiot... I want to scold him. He shouldn't just throw away his life like this. I have to scold him...for everything....that...
"M-my leg... it hurts..." That was all I could squeeze out of my throat, I could barely speak from that just now. I feel...terrified. That I'll die, that he'll die, that it was my fault we came here. Where is Captain Claire when you need her?
"D-Dominikk...I've never fought a boss without Captain Claire before... will I die? Are we going to die?" I feel tears welling in my eyes. Maybe I should not have done all this. We're going to die. And I haven't even managed to apologize yet.
"No. We will be fine. I won't let anyone hurt my teammates. I'll protect them. You, and Captain Claire." He said. How? How can you be so sure? How can you be so calm in the face of such a deadly monster?
"Dominik...." I slowly closed my eyes. As I let the world slip away. As the clanging noises of Neon blades and bones fade away.
