Chapter 28:The ball is already rolling

Everything is a blur... My body is aching all over... My feet feels cold... Its so numb... I slowly open my eyes. Im lying on the floor. The surrounding stinks. It smells of explosive shadow plants.
Suddenly. Something infront of me started blinking purple. Wait... Thats... An explosive shadow plant! I quickly rolled to the other side as it blew up. My ears are ringing.
I slowly sat up. It hurts... Everywhere... I looked around. Im still in the shores of the everdark. Ivy! Maybe she's still here! I have to... Find her... I thought as I slowly stood up.
"Dont. Move." Someone said behind me as a blade was pointed at my neck.

Sitting in a shadow cell. I looked outside. They caught me. So this is the nest of the shadow monsters. I looked around me. Neighbouring cells had a lot of dead trovians. Died of hunger and thirst. These animals. They're not going to keep us alive. I have to get out of here.
I knocked on the bars. A shadow guard appeared around the corner. He flashed light inside my cell. "Whats the noi- hey! Where did they go?!" He says as he opens the door.
He slowly steps inside. I jumped down from the ceiling and aimed right at his head. He cracked into pieces. Huh, i guess the stuff they teach us in school really is useful.
I stepped out of the cell and closed it behind me. Now to find Ivy. I thought as I turned invisible.

Abigail

I sat in my room. Mother. She's just keeping me prisoner here. I can't just stay! If Mother wins the war. Aunt Venus will die. And she will bring along all of the light in Trove. We'll live in darkness. Forever. The balance can not be toppled. Without the sun. The moon will no longer give off light! Our civilization will fail. And we will turn to become like those monsters... In Geode... I dont think Mother realises this. I have to find a way to change her mind.
Suddenly. I felt someone come up behind me as a hand from behind grabbed me by the shoulder and a blade was held up to my neck.
"Don't move a muscle" a guy's voice rang behind me.

Jake (Random trovian)

  "Alright guys! We're done with this dungeon! Lets head home."
  "sigh Jake sensei, you're thinking about getting stuff to eat again arent you? I swear, Candy Barbarians like you just cant stop eating."
  "Hey,  eating is a hobby. Theres also many types of eating techniques to master and different crusines across the wor-"
  Suddenly. Someone entered behind us. The smell of flowers flowed in the air. A chloromancer? I turned around. "Hey, sorry  we've already cleared this-"
  Something's not right about that Trovian. Everything. From her hair to her eyes to her clothes, to her staff... Its all silverish white. I felt a bit uneasy. That costume... Its not the normal Chloromancer costume.
  "Hey, are you ok-" she threw a plant at us. It exploded. I immediately felt the pollen and petals burn against my skin. "Ow!! What are yo-"
  She lurged forward. Shooting us with her lazer. I heard cracks behind me. No! My team! I turned towards her. "You! You're a Trovian! Why are you attacking us??? Why a-" she threw a spinning flower at me. Multiple cuts immediately appeared on my stomach as I screamed in pain. She killed my team! And now she's going to kill me! I have to get to lady Venus to report this!... Quickly!!
  Another flower exploded behind me. When did she....? I thought as I cracked into pieces.

Claire

  I watched as the shadow figure cracked into dust. "How many more shadow figures do you have?" I turned and asked the Moon Queen.
  "Don't worry, it will be done when it is done. And your team will be released."
  Alright.... I guess I'll have to go even harder! Lady Venus... Protect us. Please.
