Chapter 9:The war is over soon

  I slowly helped her down the dragon and helped her back to camp. "Grandpa Arthur!" I called. "I need help!"
  An old man in a cowboy hat walked out, 2 pistols by his side. He looked at us. "Oh my sun goddess! What happened to you two?" Grandpa Arthur is the oldest trovian there is in our squad. He used to tell all of us young trovians stories of the past. He was considered really old, he was in duty during the Great Trove War. He is a friendly old man though, he is too old to fight to join the shadow clearing group but he helped raise Captain Claire and Faela sensei and Jerome sensei. 
  "She is really injured!"
  He helped us back to main camp and started looking for bandages. "What were you kids up to?"
  "Im sorry! We were just dungeon running and then there was this boss who almost killed us and"
  "*sigh* you kids these days take way more risks then we did back then" he shook his head as he helped Ivy bandage her leg.
  "Ow..." she flinches a bit.
  "Haha, sorry Grandpa.... Just...don't tell our captain...please?" i laugh awkwardly.
  "Fine fine, just stay safe you two."
  During dinner, we all gathered around at the main camp. The atmosphere was light, everyone was talking and eating.
  "And so, we've cleared another floor in the shadow tower. And we think... we have found where the daughter of the moon goddess is located at. If we capture her. We can turn the tides of this battle." Captain Claire said, taking a sip of her honeywine.
  I sat beside her, listening. Man, the war may be over soon? This...this is great news... I turned towards Ivy, to see her reaction, only to find her staring back.
  "What are you staring at tin can??" she blushes and turns away. "Mind your own buisness." "U-uh b-but you... um....ok...." I turn back to Captain Claire, then felt her stare on my back once again.
  Why?
