Chapter 27: It's my responsibility

She read the letter again. "Ivy.... No way.... I..."
"I.... I have to go back!!"
I turned around. "Claire senpai? What happened?"
"My student is in trouble. I have to find them. Now!! You guys... Can you..."
"Dont worry. We've got you covered" Jerome said.
Claire flashed a quick smile before calling stellaurion and riding away.
"I hope they're going to be alright." I turn back to the gates to the Altar of the Moon.
"Yeah." Jerome aimed his bow at the gate.
"Ready Faela?"
We opened the door. There she is. The daughter of the moon. She looks at us, then drew her giant lunar blade. The cresent moon hanging from her back. Shinging off silver lighting.
"Lets end this war once and for all."

She screamed in pain as Jerome broke her armor even further with his arrows. I alined all my staffs in a row and started shooting at her. Suddenly, she broke into pieces.
I collapsed on the ground. "We.... Did.... Hah.... It?"
"Hah.... Yeah.... Geez this was hard." Jerome laughed.
"Man, Claire really owe us one now" we walked towards the Daughter of the moon.
"Now to get the lunar soul for lady venus and-"
I poked her face. Its too fake. This.... Is really sketchy.
"Hey Jerome... I thin-"
The body of the daughter of the moon blew up.

"A-arggh!! Wh-its a trap!!"
black veins started to form on my hand. "J-Jerome???" I stammer. The darkness surrounded me. This... I feel numb... What is this? Claire senpai? Jerome? Dominik?
"Help me....." Everything grows dark. I cant see...

I stood up from the ground. My silver and purple cloak shined from the moonlight which shone through the window in the Altar of the moon. I looked at Jerome. He looked back at me. His silver clothing covered all of his body. We nodded at each other. The conversion is complete. White light radiated off of my staff.
"Lets go" I nodded to him.

Claire

The uneasiness overwhelmed me as Stellaurion flew into the shores of the everdark. Uber 8 difficulty.. Why did Ivy come here? And Dominik... I hope he didnt do anything silly to try to chase her.
Stellaurion dived down onto the entrance of a shadow arena. please let them be okay...
I petted Stellaurion on the neck. "Thank You again, Old friend." She nodded and flew away. I turned around, then took out my rainbow colored staff and slowly approached the shadow arena.
"Trovian, I have been expecting you." A voice echoed throughout the Arena. That voice.... Its a woman.... But who?
"Who are you? What have you done with Ivy?"
"You've come for your precious students isnt that correct?" Suddenly a woman emerged from the shadows into the moon light. I looked at her. Suddenly it felt as though something was stuck in my chest. I collapsed to the floor.
Panting.
"You-hah.. Hah...cough you're....." The purple cloak, the silver colored skin. Theres no doubt. She is the Moon Queen.
"What... cough buisness do you have with young innocent Trovians... Hah... Like her??!"
"What buisness I have does not concern you. However," With every step she takes towards me. I felt my body become more and more uncomfortable... She is at a level way beyond mine... Black clouds slowly formed around us. Her presence is overwhelming...
"Your purpose is to rescue these two trovians am I right?" Two? But....Ivy is...
Two figures stepped out behind her. Their silver clothing shining bright against the moonlight. Their cold white eyes stared straight at me.
"Dominik! Ivy!" I cried in surprise.
"Trovian, i have seen your abilities. I respect you, and I find it fascinating that you are risking so much, just for the lives of two trovians. So, I will make you a deal."
I spat at her. "I will NEVER make a deal with the likes.... Hah... Of you...."
She paused, then turn around. "Fine then, then you will watch the two of them fight to their deaths against each other until you change your mind."
As if being controlled, Dominik and Ivy turned towards each other in sync, his blade and her staff both radiating off a horrible killer intent.
"W-wait!!!! Fine! I'll do it. What is it?" I struggled.
"I just want to see your power. If you complete this training course I designed. I'll let you and them go."
She turned me around. There are some shadowy figures at a giant stretch of land behind us.
"So if I defeat all of them.... You'll let us go?"
"Yes. You have my word."
I closed my eyes. Dominik. Ivy. Sensei is so sorry she wasnt there to protect you. She'll make it up to you as best as she can.
I take out my staff. "I'll do it."
