Chapter 31: Attack

Krystie

"Careful Grandpa Arthur, its still hot." We are sitting down and eating dinner. Dominik and Ivy have been gone for a few days. No news from Claire either. Im starting to get really really worried. Its not normal for two 3000 PR Trovians to just straight up leave for a few days straight without any message. And its not normal that one of the elite Trovians of all went after them and disappeared too. Something huge must be going on. I hope they will be alright. Dear Lady Venus, keep them safe. Please.
"Still worrying about them huh?" An old raspy voice rang from beside me.
"H-huh? O-oh no no Grandpa Arthur, its just....its been so long since they left, shouldnt they be back now?" I sat back in my seat, Grandpa Arthur looked at me with experienced eyes.
"Nah those kiddos will be fine, they've got Claire with them. She was one of my best. So strong that at one point, she surpassed me too."
I laughed. "Maybe cause you're getting old, Grandpa."
"Thats true too, I'm just an old man clinging to his bullets. You youngsters, always so full of energy." He smiled. Grandpa Arthur always knows how to lighten the mood. He was part of the very first generation of Trovians that survived when the war began... Its been so long. And he has surprisingly lived through all of this. I'm not complaining. He is a nice old man. He is the teacher of Claire, Faela, Jerome, Dominik's parents. Ivy and my parents too. All of us in this squad is close. Like... Family.
Suddenly. We heard a crash outside. "Invaders?? But this is a
squad territory, Shadow minions shouldnt be able to-"
I opened the door. The surrounding atmosphere has changed. I feel a wave of uneasiness overwhelm me. I backed up against the wall, panting.
This feeling....such heavy killer intent. This doesnt belong to Trovians. Trovians can't have this much killer intent-
I heard footsteps. "Get down" Grandpa Arthur said. All of us around the table immediately stayed low. As Todd hid behind the door. I saw a glimpse of the intruder.
"Faela sensei!" I accidentally exclaimed. No way!!! But... She left with Jerome sensei and Claire weeks ago!
Suddenly. She turned around. I saw another figure behind her. Jerome sensei!! B-but.... How??? And why are they here?!?
The squad main camp house exploded.

Everything was in chaos. I could hear screams of pain. And constant hum of Jerome sensei's bow. Whats going on? We're allie-
I heard a cry as I saw Todd get pierced by Jerome sensei's arrows. His particles fell beside my feet.
"No!! Todd!"
"Krystie! Take cover!" Suddenly a wall appeared infront of me. I turned back, grandpa Arthur was behind me.
"Grandpa Arthur... Tha-"
"Your teachers have gone rogue! Its some sort of dark magic moon queen's pullin'! We gotta find a way to contain them!" He says. Suddenly, the firing ceased. Just as I wondered whats going on, a giant blue light arrow pierced through the wall and shot grandpa Arthur straight in the chest.
"Grandpa Arthur!"
He coughs up blood as he plucks the arrow out of his body. "Im fine, kid, it'll take a few more arrows than this to kill an old bag of bones like me."
I turned around. "Bob! Help me. I need you to cause a distraction!"
We jumped towards them. Bob grabbed Jerome sensei. I lurged for Faela sensei. We crashed onto the floor. Her image flickered. I turned around. This is a decoy! I jumped towards the real her a few feet away. Grabbed hold of her. Then screamed. "Bob! Grandpa Arthur! Close your eyes!". Then my eyes shone white and everything froze.

Ivy

Everything is so hot. The black clouds. They're everywhere. Im so scared... I don't want to die Dominik! I'm... So.... Sorry.... If I could have one wish....
I want to see you one last time.
I blinked. The heat and the uncomfortable feeling is gone. My vision has cleared. I looked around, I am standing in some sort of dome. There are so many other Trovians around me. I looked around, the room is so silent you can hear a pin drop on the floor. But there is no pin. What are they wearing? I looked at the other Trovians and looked at myself. Wh-what am I wearing?!?? U wore a silver cloak, with purple colours in some bits as contrast. I looked around. Everyone else is wearing silver and purple clothes too.
I took a step. My head hurts, what happened? Suddenly. I remembered everything. She.... SHE.... Grabbed me.... Dominik.... D-did I get..... Kidnapped?
The last face i saw of Dominik burned into my eyes. What was I thinking? Running away... And to the shores of the ever dark. I deserved all of this. Dominik was doing everything for my sake. But... For him to just say that he will stay.... While being so sure of himself....
I looked up. This is not the time to reflect. I must find Dominik.

I creeped along the corridor. This place is like a huge maze. If i find the exit... I'll be able to get out... Then I can figure out whats going on.
I turned a corner. Suddenly i knocked into someone. I looked up in horror. Its a shadow golem!!! I freezed it and shot it a few times. To my horror, its not doing a single scratch. I backed into the wall. What Uber difficulty is this?!??? The shadow unfroze and grabbed me by the neck. I struggled.
"Let me go!!" It ignored me and turned to its friend.
"This Trovian has broken out of the despoilee divinity control. It may be suitable to be her majesty's next test subject." It groaned at its friend. The friend said nothing, but silently nodded.
I struggled under its grip. No! It cant end like this! I was going to escape! I was go-
They entered a room and tied me to a chair.
A shadow figure sat beside me. It looked at me and smiled. Its smile sent a chill down my spine. "Yes, this is very promising! Yes! This will do just fine!" He flipped open my mouth and checked my teeth.
"Y-you! Get your hands off me!"
He ignored me and pushed a device next to my face. It started shining blue light. Everything is so blinding. Dominik...
