"Danny?" I mumbled.

He got up off of the chair in the corner of my room and walked over to me. He sighed and sat down next to me on the bed.

"You doing okay babe?" He asks, sounding exhausted.

"No. I feel so disgusting." I answer, then role over on my side. He places his hand on my back and rubs my side.

"You need to go to the doctor."

"No! I hate the doctor." I said with a serious tone, "I will be fine."

"Really? How could you say that when you have literally been laying in bed all week, you haven't ate in two days and you're barely sleeping."

"Danny, I-"

He cut me off and said, "I've had it, I'm taking you to the doctor whether you like it or not."

He picked me up bridal style and took me out to the car, then covered me with a blanket. The whole car ride I didn't say one word, mainly because I was annoyed with him.

When we got to the doctors, I sat on a chair in the waiting room while Danny filled out the form for me. Once he finished that, I sat on his lap, wrapped up in a blanket, and set my head on his shoulder. He put his arm around my waist and pulled me closer to him.

Five minutes later I was almost asleep, until I heard someone ask Danny, "Is that your girlfriend?"

I opened my eyes just enough to see the older lady who asked, then shut them quickly.

"Yes, it is. She's not very happy with me right now."

He explained the whole story to her.

"You wouldn't be doing this for her if you didn't care." said the lady.

"Exactly, and I do care about her, a lot."

Twenty minutes later we finally went back to a room, and the doctor came in. Danny did most of the talking, except for when the doctor asked certain questions.

"What it looks like is you have a bad case of the flu. I'm going to prescribe you some medication, okay?" said the doctor, "Take one of each twice a day, and make sure you eat before."

I nodded my head.

Once the doctor came back with the bottles of medicine, we left. In the car I looked at each bottle and said, "Do I really have to take all of this?"

"(Y/N)." Says Danny, with a stern tone.

I looked over at him and said, "Sorry..thanks for taking me to the doctors, even though I really didn't want to go. I love you."

He laughed a little. "I only did it because I care about you. I love you too."

We intertwined our fingers and he continued driving home.
