The terribly loud sound of thunder shook the apartment, causing me to shoot up, wide awake. I looked out the window and saw the wind blowing the trees around, then a bright flash lit up our entire bedroom.
I continued looking out the window. Storms have always terrified me, I'm not exactly sure why. A minute later I felt Charley wrap his arm around my waist, then mumbled, "You'll be fine babe."
I sighed and laid back down. "I'm sorry that I woke you up."
"It's okay. I don't want you to be scared." He said, and rubbed my side.
Thunder shook the apartment again, and I winced at the sound. Charley pulled me closer to him and I laid my head on his shoulder. My cold fingertips traced the tattoo on his chest.
"I'm so stupid, I'm an adult and I'm afraid of thunderstorms." I mumbled.
"You're not stupid. I think it's cute." Charley answers.
I smiled and said, "Cute? How so?"
"Because I get to cuddle with you." said Charley, then he kissed the top of my head. "I love you, (Y/N)."
I looked at him and smiled, "I love you too, Charley."
We continued a small conversation until the two of us fell back to sleep.
Author's note -
I'm so sorry I haven't updated in a while, I started school and I've been really busy with that. But this weekend I will hopefully try to write a few more imagines! :)
