Me and a group of my best friends all hung out at my flat for the night. It was Jake, Charley, Danny, Lewi, Katie, Hayley and I. (I chose two random girl names lol). After watching tons of movies we decided to play truth or dare.
"I wanna go first!" said Lewi. He looked at everyone in the circle.
"Hmm..(Y/N), truth or dare?"
I laughed and said, "Why am I always first?! Uhh...truth."
"C'mon, that's no fun." said Lewi, "Do you have a crush on anybody?"
My cheeks turned slightly red, and I said, "Yep. But I'm not saying who." It was Jake but i wouldn't admit that in front of everyone.
Next I asked Danny, then he asked Charley, and Charley asked Jake.
"Jake." said Charley, "truth or dare?"
"Dare."
Charley paused to think of a dare.
"Ah- okay I got it. Jake, I dare you to kiss the prettiest girl in the room."
He was quiet for a minute, then said, "(Y/N), come here."
I instantly got butterflies in my stomach and slowly went over to Jake. I sat in front of him and he pulled me onto his lap, and crashed his lips into mine. He held my face in his hands. When we both pulled away we smiled at each other.
"Um..I think you guys have some explaining to do?" says Danny.
"What do you mean?" I asked.
"You can't just kiss someone like that and not have any feelings for them." said Katie.
Not realizing I was still sitting on his lap, Jake motioned for me to stand up and said, "(Y/N), we need to talk.."
"Okay..uh- let's just go in my room."
He followed me to my room, and shut the door behind him.
I sat on my bed and started messing with a string on my sweater.
He sat down next to me and said, "Listen..I really like you, and I think that's kind of obvious now. I know we're not best friends like you and Charley are, but I feel like we've gotten to know each other so well over the past year."
"I'm just going to be completely honest, I've liked you ever since the first day I met you."
He smiled and said, "Really? Well, (Y/N), will you be my girlfriend?"
"Yes, Jake, I will." I answered, smiling.
I pulled him in for a hug.

We held hands and walked back out to the room where all of our friends sat. Everyone turned around and looked at us. I held up our hands showing our intertwined fingers. I smiled along with everyone else.
