San rolled his eyes and turned back to the work sheet in front of him. But Wooyoung definitely had different plans.
He leaned into San and whispered in his ear: "Yo, do you happen to have a pen?"

Annoyed, but also a bit flustered of Wooyoung's sudden proximity, the greenish haired boy could only stutter that yes of course he had a pen and gave him one. San mentally facepalmed himself, how could he act that dumb? Could it get any stranger? But then he also asked himself why he even cared that much about what the other boy thought of him since he disliked Wooyoung anyways.

The teacher asked the class do be quiet and started with the lesson. Although English was his favorite subject, San just couldn't focus. His thoughts drifted off to the day when he came to this boarding school. Eyes swollen, heart broken and his smile everywhere else, but not where it should be. Happy San was history for a long time.
Then he luckily met Yunho who became his roommate and then introduced San to Jongho and Mingi. They all became close friends and the smile returned to his lips.

"San? Are you present? Could you please answer my question?", the teacher snapped at him for missing half of the class. "Aehm...", San stuttered, he obviously didn't get the question, but also didn't dare to ask for a repetition.
He was ready to give up and dig a whole to make his own grave, when he heard a whisper.

"The question was what happend in chapter 11 of Crooked Letter, Crooked Letter. Did you read it? Because I didn't..."

Of course. San read every book they were supposed to read. He loved when they had literature in class, so the boy also had read chapter eleven last night. But was he able to sum up what happend? His mind wasn't clear, but San did not want to embarrass himself infront of his favorite teacher.

"Eh, so- the chapter starts off with Larry having a flashback of that incident back in school. When he wakes up from that flashback dream, he wants to make sure his mother's chicken are fed..."

"Thank you for sharing, San! The homework is written on the board, you're free to go."

San breathed out relieved, finally he could go home and just lie down on his bed.
Fast he gathered his things, wanted to go when Wooyoung tapped his shoulder.

"You could've thanked me, you know," he laughed brightly and then added "Also here, you forgot the pen you gave me. Have nice day off tomorrow!"
Then he turned around and walked out of the room.

San frowned, grabbed the pen and left as well, slightly excited for a evening just spending time in his bed, maybe watching a movie or tv show.

And this time his plans of having a chill evening even came true. Usually Yunho would bust into their room and wanted to drag San out to some party. However, this evening Yunho stayed together with him in the room. San started watching Emily's 5 things a new taiwanese drama he discovered a few days ago holding Shiber in his arms, after a few minutes Yunho stood up and made his way to San's bed. He lifted the blanket and joined the boy.

San wondered what was wrong with the normally happy boy. San's head nearly fumed debating whether to ask Yunho or not. Finally having decided what to do, San sat upright.

"Yunho, are you all right? Did something happen?"

Yunho sighed, but then shook his head in response.

"No, everything's fine! Just wanna hang out with you and your little Shiber before your big day tomorrow. First Halloween Party! EVER!", Yunho laughed, but it didn't reach his eyes and when he thought San already went back watching the drama his smile dropped.

San scoffed, even though he literally couldn't live without Shiber, Yunho definitely exaggerated! Particularly because Shiber was a plushie.

But San couldn't force Yunho to open up towards him, not concentrating on the drama they were watching San fell into a deep sleep.

San turned on the fairy lights. The room he shared looked magical with all the small lights lightening it. His heart raced. Today he had the room for his own. Yunho went to his family or somewhere else, he didn't really tell San.
Looking at the clock he realized he only had a few minutes left, quickly he arranged the last things so everything would look pretty!

A knock.

There he was. His first date. Ever.

Taking a deep breath San opened the door, a big smile on his face. The face of the other boy was hidden in the shadows.

As he stepped in he laughed softly about the romantic appearance of the room.

Awkward silence.

Then out of thin air the boy kissed San, holding his face in his hands. The tender kiss developed into a wild kiss.
The slightly smaller guy pushed him down onto the bed.

As San tried to take a look at his handsome date the only thing he could see was the purple hair.
