You could say I was the only - mostly - sober partaker in the group. Axl and Sloan were skipping down the road in their matching leather pants, singing and laughing of things that weren't funny. Izzy was dancing as he walked, banging his head as though a stereo followed every step he took. Steven was running back and forth, up and down, round and round, tapping his hands and feet on anything and everything; a jittery son of a bitch. But then there was me, in the middle - behind Steven but in front of Izzy - cruising along with a cigarette planted between my lips and my usual leather jacket accompanying the ray bans perched upon the bridge of my nose. The original plan was to go out and buy our alcohol at some store near, however when Sloan and I exited the kitchen and found everyone already drunk, I presumed that idea was thrown out the window. I was definitely tipsy - you don't have no effect from chugging whisky - but I wasn't as gone as the others.

Suddenly, Axl came to a halt, turning to face me with an overly-large grin. I knew that face too well. "What?" I asked, taking a glance around at our surroundings. And then the cop car came into view and things slowly began to click in place. "Not again." I sighed. Axl always had to pull some sort of prank on them.

"Come on, Sloanie and I can do it with you." He grinned, taking a few steps closer to where the blue and white car sat, with the old and fat cops lazing away inside.

"Oh, fuck it." I cursed, storming over and standing with my back facing the windscreen. Sloan and Axl stood on either side of me, laughing and giggling to themselves as I rolled my eyes and pulled down my pants, bending over and smacking what my momma gave me. They followed suit, Axl taking it just that one step far and jumping around and wiggling his junk before the distraught men. Hurriedly, they stumbled out of the doors, faces red as their scarlet necks, causing Sloan and I to quickly place our bottoms away and run toward where Duff, Izzy and Steven stood, laughing. Soon enough the two over-weight men were tumbling after Axl as he eventually pulled himself back up and drunkenly stumbled away from them in fits of giggles and chuckles.

After a few moments, an out of breath red-head came stumbling round the corner, crashing into myself and Duff as we tumbled to the floor in a heap. "They almost got me, man." He said, delighted. "Almost."

I rolled my eyes, smacking him around the back of the head. "You need to be more careful, Ax." Warned, a little smile playing on my lips to let him know I was joking.

"Yeah, yeah." He grinned, standing with a little sway before holding out his hand, an offering of support. I complied, grasping his wrist tightly and hoisting myself from upon the floor, using my stability to pull Duff back up too. "You know, Saul." He never used my real name. I raised an eyebrow, confused, As he rested his head upon my shoulder with a little huff. "You're so closed off." He said, almost saddened, you could say. I felt my frown soften a little. "But it's like whatever you feel you never let it show until you pick up that damned guitar."

"People don't wanna hear my sob story, Ax." I shrugged, watching as Sloan piped in with her slurred words.

"You seem like a pretty rad guy." She admitted. "But I'm hungry, so let's eat." And we were off again, Axl and Duff speed walking with sloppy grins and Steven skipping and hopping alongside Izzy who seemed to have sobered up a bit. He walked with his hands in his pockets, cigarette planted between his lips as he sparked the silver lighter, frown dominant against his brows. I turned my attention to where Sloan stumbled next to me, finding it difficult to walk in a straight line. She was a very pretty girl, and I doubted she didn't have a few of the drunken men from the bars around town wondering where she'd gone as they drank over their third divorce.

Lighting up my own cigarette, I placed the shades upon my head, pushing the mountain of curls back slightly as the sun poured down upon my slightly sweaty face. Taking off the heated, black, leather jacket, I handed it over to Sloan, "Hold that." I instructed, quickly removing the shirt underneath and tucking it into the waistband of my jeans, prying the jacket back off of the girl with wide eyes beside me. I grinned a little at her reaction, inhaling a breath of the cigarettes toxins and wrapping my arm gently long her shoulders, slowing down my pace and keeping her steps steady and a bit more... straight.
