Again we were having to re-learn the history of humans. It was bone ideally boring, to the point it made bleeding someone dry far more enjoyable.

This entire lesson was pointless and dull, everybody knew the history. We weren't ever allowed to forget it, so why must we constantly be laboured into listening to the torture of it?

"Miss Fleming, do you care to give your input on the story?"

Fleming, it was a name that haunted me. It was a name that always had the teachers question me. All because I was a direct descendant of the original human. Due to this everyone just assumed I loved answering and listening to questions about my heritage. However it was the dullest thing imaginable. But your always told to be polite so.

"Why yes, the story is very unique and creative and I do believe the creators put a great deal of effort into their story"

After I'd finished the teacher gave a slight nod of satisfaction and continued. She drawled on for a while and spoke about some pages to turn to and a task to get set on.

First off hey, my name is Lola Fleming, I'm a descendant of the first humans yes and I have a huge family heritage. My skin is fair and pale, while my lips are a deep red rouge. Finally to complete the look I have Rapunzel like hair that curls hysterically it is also a moca brown, while my eyes are a hazelnut colour...

Begrudgingly Lola stopped twirling her pen and directed her attention to the meek crumpled paper that was her assignment. She tried to think of something to write, anything would do. Although there was one problem creativity, her mind was blank all she wanted to do was read she wasn't in the mood for writing.

After the hour was up she slipped out of the door quickly and weaved out of the halls. As she distanced herself from the classroom, two eyes watched her following her right up until she turned the corner. They had done this before, watching always watching nothing more.

Lola sighed as she stepped round the corner a large shiver slid down her back. She could feel it, something was watching her. Just like before when she first started at this academy, a few years ago, when the watching first started.

Hours passed as Lola continued with her day, she was strolling off to the next class. When she saw something, it was a man of some sort. He was tall, fair and his skin was slightly pale much more cheerful compared to hers. While his hair was dark, the front covering his left eye. Those eyes they were golden flecked, as pure and bright as a cat's. Then he turned and she was faced by those eyes, they felt so familiar. However she couldn't think why?

The man then smiled and walked towards her with motive, he then raised his fingers.

And he lightly touched her cheek, tracing his fingers down across her jawline and smirked.

"You guys are useless"

Flushed, by his sudden actions Lola stepped back as her face turned an awfully bright shade of dark crimson. As she stuttered,

"How- How dare you, who do you think you are?"

Clearly amused the man mischievously tapped her nose and bowed saying.

"My dear I'm whoever you want me to be however, surely by now you've seen me around".

Leaving her utterly speechless he rose and started to slowly walk away grinning from ear to ear as he headed off towards the Academy dorms.

Finally, managing to regain her surroundings Lola shook her head and glared at the ungrateful person that had just left her. At least she assumed he was a person, he didn't smell like one however, he was definitely not supernatural looking either. Sighing she decided she would have to find out just who this 'man' was. Maybe someone else knew him?

Fully composed Lola started to head up to her classroom as the bell began to ring, signalling for the next class.  Waiting for her were her fellow classmates, they quietly greeted one another. Then once doing so they all strolled in through the arched door of the classroom.
