After the class finally settled down, the teacher instructed him to sit next to the window. The furthest chair from the squealing girls, and the closest chair to Lola.
Gracefully, he stepped up and walked across, close to Lola and he whispered to her ear.
"Now you know my name. I guess that's a start right?"
Satisfied he raised his head and continued to walk to his chair no longer paying any attention to her. Instead the only attention Lola received were the daggers from every girl in the room. She was no longer everyone's pawn for fame and glamour.

Great. Just great, it was bad enough having them obsess over me. But now it was worse it felt like they wanted to kill me. Simply because this Lawrence boy decided to play his little game with me. This was ridiculous and no one had any power to stop it. These girls were roofless and if I wasn't careful I'd be dead...
The teacher continued on with their lesson not noticing the battle of eyes that was tacking place, as she taught. Or if she did, she was very good at hiding it. Lola was no longer alone in a crowd she was now physically alone and it felt daunting. Yet oddly satisfying, she didn't have to be with all those people anyone more. She could be free.
Finally, the lesson ended and Lola was free to escape. She darted out of the door quicker than the crowd. Desperate to find somewhere free to hide, before anyone could find her.
After circling the grounds for a while, Lola came across a small garden. A path lead it's way through it. On either side pumpkin patch seeds grew and roses climbed around it's edges. Never daring to intrude. The place was peaceful and quiet. Courteously, she stepped onto the path, watching her feet as she followed the paths lead round a corner.
To her joy standing in the the centre was something gorgeous. It's body stood tall and it's arms reached for the floor. The hair on it's head was delicate and smooth. Every strand beautiful and unique. It was a willow tree.
Once she had approached she smiled to herself and slung her bag off her shoulders. It fell to the ground in a daze, as she slowly turned and settled herself under the tree. Retrieving her book she opened the pages delicately and she began to read. This was real peace.

No sooner than she had done this a large sound echoed from the tree. Laughter, someone was very pleased with themselves. Reluctantly, Lola stopped reading and looked up. Then the laughter stopped and she heard a voice, that was clearly amused.
"Wow and here I thought you'd be more fun"
It was Lawrence however, he wasn't finished talking so Lola waited patiently. Clearly annoyed.
"I set a task and I figured you of all people would actually try. I allowed you to know my name and I set myself in your path weren't you at all curious? No, pity I fought you were different to your family oh well"
He then jumped and landed perfectly on his feet and he started to walk away. Without hesitating Lola called after him.
"Wait, what do you mean my family?"
The last thing she wanted was to be compared to them. And he was right, she desperately wanted to know who he was. Why hadn't she started on it yet, why had those girls put her off it. It vexed her, so she waited for his response. After a while he turned,
"Now my kitten, that's more like it. I knew you were different. I'll give you three days but they won't be easy".
He grinned mischievously and bowed to her before turning to walk away. Pardon? Three days what was he talking about?
"To find out just who I am and a little secret you'll be dying to know".
He called to her as he continued to walk away. Almost like he had read her mind. That was crazy right!
"Don't forget three days and don't think I'll be nice because your confused. I've given you my name, even that's too generous. Goodbye kitten".
He trailed off. Then he was gone, out of sight and she was left alone once again. However, this time she was confused and annoyed. How dare he play her like this. She wasn't his 'kitten' , it was utterly insulting! However, despite all that she still wanted to play his game. Almost to defy him and show it was easy, proving he didn't scare or worry her. This task was going to be a slice of cake, she decided. So without hesitation, she set off towards the library...
