Lola
After frantically jotting ideas down she fell onto a chair deflated. Nothing seemed correct. So she decided to load up her computer. The screen loaded and she heard a small ding, come from an app. The app was her emails.
Curious to find out the message she opened it and the sender was Lawrence. This was the answer an email of course. Now what on earth did she have to do now.
Carefully she clicked the message and read it's contents slowly.
" Congratulations on turning on your computer to find the answer. I am impressed however, you are a good kitten so I should have known.
Anyway, the first trial that you need to complete is simple. Go to the place where you were first introduced by name and all will become clear when you reveal what's under your desk. However, do not discredit the act of suspicious companions keep the message close and hidden to you.
Kind regards to you my dear and I do hope my sister didn't scare you too hard. But you are tough. My kind regards dear kitten and good luck. Remember things aren't super easy don't act too quickly.
Yours Sincerely, Lawrence"
She could almost feel the smile Lawrence must have had when writing this. It vexed her however, he was the reason she was alive, so she had to live with it for now. So the answer was in her classroom. Interesting, well that was where she needed to go.
She pushed down the laptop screen and rose from her seat. Then she walked over to the table by the door and grabbed her bag. She quickly chucked keys, her phone, a pen and notebook into the bag. Before slinging it on her shoulder and opening the door. She locked up her dorm room and started to make her way to the classroom.
She kept to the shadows and stayed silent not wanting to alert any attention. Her heart slowly started to pound as the classroom started to get closer. This was the first trial.
Palms sweating and eyes scanning she raised her hand to the level of the door handle. Her body screaming with explosions of the possibilities to what was behind. Her arm started to shake ever so slightly as her right hand tested the handle. It practiced how it wanted to do this and it was ready. The question now was Lola?
Lawrence
Well that's that, the emails sent and my sister's inline, the games can now begin.
Lawrence strolled over to a window, of the library, and stretched his arm up. Efficiently unlatching the windows lock. Pushing it open, he gulped a deep breath of fresh air. And grinned like a cheshire. Then without hesitation he pushed his hands up, in support, and climbed. So his legs could reach the window sill. He then crouched down and jumped out of the window.
Bracing his legs for the fall he landed down hard. One knee down and his right arm punching the floor. Perfecting the super hero's landing. He then brushed himself off and merrily wondered down the path.
Finally, reaching his destination he jumped up onto a window and climbed in. He then crept silently over to a shabby old desk and lifted it carefully. As to not allow it to creak. Then he retrieved a small box from behind.
It was a dark pine wood and it smelt of cinnamon ash. It's body had small engravings laced across it; symbols of the old times. And to cradle it well in protection, keeping the secrets safe, a laced up bow had been tied.
Lawrence carefully placed the box, in the centre of the desks closet hole. Then he closed the lid and backed away slowly. Looking around he noticed an old store closet, and decided it would be rather fun to watch.
So he settled down and closed the door carefully however, not fully. Leaving the tiniest viewing crack to observe the scene. He was ready for the first trial was Lola? He'd just have to wait and see...
