Chapter 5

I woke up the next morning and I felt great. Yes I'm still in a relationship but when I checked my phone I had a dm from my childhood best friend saying he was going camping and was able to invite friends and we haven't seen each other in years. I walked downstairs and went to the computer room to ask my mom if I can go. I know I'm eighteen but I'm living under my moms roof so I need permission to go somewhere out of town. I knocked on the door "Hold on" "Mom this is important" "Come in sweetie" I walked in and she was having a conversation with Tyson. "What is it honey?" "Anderson's going camping this weekend and he's allowed to bring friends and he wanted to know if I can go since we haven't seen each other in years." "Sure honey I don't care. Is Elise going?" "I don't know. They don't really know each other but I could ask." "You don't have to sweetie but yes you can go." "Thanks mom I love you" I said as I gave her a hug. I turned around to walk out the door and Tyson's watching me as I text Anderson I can go. A text appeared on my phone screen at the same time from Tori.
Tori: Whatever you and Ty is going through we're still sisters right?
Me: Yes of course
Tori: Okay. Why did he just text me and asked who Anderson was?
Me: He was in the room when I asked mom if I can go camping with him and some of his friends this weekend.
Tori: So are you and Ty broken up?
Me: No. I'm just thinking about things.
Tori: Okay well I need to come over without Ty knowing and talk to you.
Me: Ok text me when you're here and I'll sneak you in through the front door.
Tori: Okay, on my way be there in ten minutes
Me: Okay
I went to my room trying to figure out how I would sneak in Tori and what she needed to talk about.

About 30 long ass minutes later she finally showed up and Tyson was still in the computer room taking to my mom. I managed to sneak Tori in and up the steps. We both sat down on my bed and she was looking at her phone worried.
