We end up at Ulta and I'm looking for everything I need. Isla wanted some makeup so I let her pick out an eyeshadow palette for her. We get up to the counter and Corbyn insisted on paying for everything. Then he took everyone out for lunch. He was on his phone for the longest time with a smile on his face. I asked him what he was smiling about and he showed me his phone screen. I looked at him excitedly and went around the table to give him a big hug. Everyone was asking what was going on and I excitedly announced "Corbyn got me a plane ticket to LA!" Everyone was silent. "What is that a bad thing?" I asked. "No, we're happy for you but what about Elise?" Asked Jack. "I'm sure I can pay for her ticket if she wants to go." I stated. Then Isla chirped up and said "What if grandma won't let you go." I said "I'll do anything and everything I can to get grandma to say yes." Then she said "But what about me? You won't get to see me or bubby while you're gone." "I can and will FaceTime and call you every night before bed and whenever you wake up some mornings." "Okay, I give you my permission to go." She said and everyone adored her. "But uncle Dylan might be against it." "Uncle Dylan doesn't have to know."
