It's a new day. Corbyn is ghosting me for a reason that will be explained later. I've been hanging out with my brother at the pool everyday for the past week. It feels like he's been in my life all those years when in reality he wasn't. I was getting a sun tan when someone jumped in the pool and splashed water on me. I look up from my book and see Dylan laughing. "Listen here dickweed." I said as I dried off with a towel. "Hey that's my towel" Dylan whined as I threw it in the chair next to me. "Next time you'll think twice before splashing me" I responded with a laugh. Zach came outside with Lavender and his phone up to his ear. "Yes Jack we're at the pool" he says as he hands me Lav. "Okay I'll tell her" he responded into the phone. Then he hung up. He handed me his phone to sit on the table next to me. Our friendship was weird but I was making it work. I missed my best friend. "Jack wants you to go to the skate park with him tomorrow." "sure. What for?" "I have no idea" he responded as I handed him Lav. "Look at you guys getting along" Dylan stated. I just looked at him and rolled my eyes as Zach just gave him the "really dude" look. He gets in the pool with Lav and she's having a blast. "Come swim with us Han" Zach yelled. "I'm not in the mood" "okay. Whatever you say." I closed my eyes to take in the LA sun. Next thing I know I'm getting thrown into the pool. "Ugh. Jackass now all my tanning lotions coming off." I said as Zach was standing near the edge of the pool laughing. "I swear I'm going to kill you." I stated as I got out. Zach handed me a towel and said "You asked for it." "oh did I?" I asked sitting the towel in the chair. "Uh yea" Zach said with a stupid smirk. "Well then you asked for this" I said as I pushed him into the pool. He came back up laughing as well as I. "Damn you're feisty" he said as I flipped him off. I looked inside the double doors and saw Corbyn watching the whole thing. "Shit." I said as I grabbed my phone from the table. "What?" Zach asked a I opened the door. I followed Corbyn upstairs to the room. I've been staying in the guest room with Dylan the last three days since Corbyn doesn't wanna talk to me.
"Get out" Corbyn said as I closed and locked the door. "Not until you tell me your problem." I answered him. "I don't have a problem." he said as he laid his phone on the bed next to him. "You haven't talked to me in three days" I reminded him. "You're the one sleeping in the guest room." he stated a little harshly. "Because you don't answer my calls or texts and then when you're home you ignore me." I told him. "You even promised that I'd get to go to the studio with you one day this week but everytime I wake up you're gone." "how do you know I'm at the studio when you wake up?" he asked with a sassy attitude. "I texted Jonah and asked him." "Great. We're done with this conversation you can go back to the pool with your bestie now." "Excuse me?" I asked annoyed. "You heard me." he said as he picked up his phone and started texting someone. "Yo bro I don't know what you think that was but I'm not trying to steal your girl from you." a different voice says behind me. "The door was locked how'd you get in?" Corbyn rudely asked Zach. "Uh I picked the lock." "nice now stop and leave both of you." Corbyn said. "Okay, you can talk to me anyway you want but you don't talk to Hanna that way." Zach stated. I started to cry. "I'll talk to her that way if I want." Corbyn said. "Why? What did she do to you?" Zach asked. "Zach," I turned around and grabbed his arm "just stop leave it be." "No Han" he pulled his arm away from me "you didn't do anything wrong and he's treating you like shit." "Zach please. Let's just go" I have tears streaming down my face and Zach looked at me. "Please" I said. I looked at Corbyn and he's staring at us. Then the look on his face makes him seem concerned. Zach wiped the tears off my face and he hooked his arm with mine and we headed out the door. Dylan was standing in the hallway, he heard every thing and he wasn't happy. At all.
