Chapter 34

Hanna's POV
I wake up from my nap an I'm laying on Zach's chest. I look around to see Jordan asleep in the chair and Ronni sleeping on Daniel's shoulder. Jack was on his phone. I'm guessing he sensed someone watching him because he looked at me. "Good morning sunshine" he says as he put his phone down on his stomach. "What time is it?" I asked as I yawned. "Four" "What time can I go home?" I asked as I tried to move without waking Zach up. Zach ended up laying his head on my chest. "I'm not sure yet. The nurse came in and said the doctor will be in whenever your mom comes back to talk about your release." he said as he looked at the text that just came through on his phone. "Okay. Did you text her?" "Yea. She said she'll be here around 4:15" he said as he got up. "I'm sorry Gabbie is bringing Lav by I'll be back" he said as he headed for the door. I just shook my head yes. I started to play with Zach's hair. "I can't believe all these people are here for me today" I thought to myself.

My mom was running a little late so she can meet with the doctor. It was 4:45 and my mom was coming through the door with the doctor behind her. So basically the whole time the doctor was talking about my release Ronni was scrolling TikTok, Jordan was still sleeping, Daniel was on his phone doing who knows what, Jack was playing with Lavender, and Zach was sleeping on me. I was being released to leave at 5:30, the doctor giving us time to gather our things. I tried to call Dylan because his stuff was still here but he wouldn't answer. My mom had everything she had plus Lavender's stuff and was taking it to Jack's car. While she was outside she was gonna call Dylan. Jack was getting all of my stuff together and Ronni was helping me change. Halfway into loading one car Luke showed back up so now we had an extra car. Everyone had everything packed within the two cars. We were all sitting around waiting for the doctor to officially release me. As soon as the doctor left the room I had another visitor, Corbyn. "Hanna, are you okay?" he asked a I sat back down. Zach grabbed my crutches and sat them up against the wall. "Where have you been?" I asked as everyone but Zach left the room. "It was Christina's last week in town so I wanted to spend it with her." he said as he grabbed my hand. I pulled my hand away and tucked my hair behind my ear. "And spending time with your ex is more important than visiting your girlfriend in the hospital?" I asked angrily. "I get it you're upset, just let me take you home so we can talk." "I've had enough stuff go on this week, the last thing I need is to talk to you about why you've been distant from me the past week." I said a I reached for my crutches. Zach helped hand then to me and I handed him my purse. "I'm guessing you've been flirting and acting like a couple with Zach the past few days." Corbyn stated before I reached the door. "What's it matter to you. You've ignored me to hang out with your ex this past week." I said raising my voice. My throat was still sore from the tube I had down my throat for surgery. I rubbed my neck. "Don't yell you'll make it worse." Zach said as he moved my hand from my neck. "Oh great now he's telling you how to recover." Corbyn said. I've had enough so I headed for the door. "I wouldn't have to if you were here being a good boyfriend to her." Zach yelled. "Shut up Zach. You're the reason our relationship started falling off in the first place." "No Corbyn, we fixed us that time, our relationship is falling apart because you've been ignoring me the past two weeks." I turned to leave but before I got out the door I had something else to say. "Also, I'm over it." I said as a tear rolled down my cheek. "You're seriously breaking up with me?" Corbyn asked his voice breaking. I thought it was all an act. All I could do is shake my head and leave.

We were in the elevator when Zach wiped a tear off my face. "You okay Han?" he asked grabbing my hand. "Yea. I will be." we landed in the lobby. I saw Dylan and I practically jumped in his arms when he asked why I was crying. "I broke up with Corbyn." I informed him. He gave Zach a look that let him know it was his time to be a big brother. Zach handed him my crutches and I shoved them back. "Take them to the car for me?" I asked looking at him. "Dylan will carry me." "yea. I love you Hanna Marie. You'll be okay one day." I started to cry harder. "I love you to Zachary Dean." he walked to the car. I was finally done with my pity party and I asked Dylan why he wouldn't answer my texts or calls. He explained the fight him and Luke had and I informed him that he's always gonna be my big brother but he also has to share the title with Tyler and Luke. He was okay with that, as long as he was in my life. At some point I saw Corbyn heading down to his car and I ignored him. He looked upset but at that time I didn't care. Dylan gave me a piggy back ride to the car. Jack's car was so full that I had to ride in Luke's so I could prop my leg up. Mom had gathered and packed Dylan's stuff before he could come. He rode in the front with Luke and apologized. They jammed out to music on the way to the Why Don't We house. I just sat in the back sad. I loved Corbyn. I still do. But after Ty and the Zach thing in the past I was over it when my boyfriend ditched me to hang out with his ex. I just hope tomorrow is a good day.
