Aogiri decided to attack the CCG headquarters in order to release Matashaka Kamishiro. During that Kankei started to lose more of himself little by little in the fight. In the end The one eyed Owl ended up saving Kankei and Ayato from getting killed.
"Ahh omgomg!" Roma screamed as she dropped another cup. I just sighed at her clumsy self as Nishki yelled at her again. A small smile appeared on my face at the whole scene. Hinami came rushing in with a broom as Roma tried to pick up the shattered pieces.
"21 ward is placed in high security if any suspicious actions or people please report it to authorities" I quickly turned off the tv annoyed and worried thinking about Kankei.
"Awesome! I bet by suspicious I bet she met your friend Kaneki!" Roma said excited at Hinami. "Um..yea..I have to get going" she frowned. Which pained me to see her in stress for someone her age.
"That's so cool! Tell me how is he like? Is he as crazy as everyone says he is!" She ran around chasing Hinami. I clenched my teeth angrily that people think of him like that where I crushed the cup in my hand.
"Saya-Chan! Are you ok!?" Hinami rushed to your side with worry. I looked at her and gave her a fake smile. "Y-Yea I'm going to take care of this.. I'll be back" I quickly walked away Nishiki sighed at my actions. 'I hope you're doing okay Kankei..'
Kankei Prov
I'm being consumed every night by that damn centipede that's crawling in my ear. This pain is too much I can't take it anymore I just keep getting tormented by Rize & Jason.
"I thought I was eating them .. but they're really eating me" I panted in sweat as I woke up from yet another nightmare. 'Saya .. I hope you don't hate me..' I frowned thinking back what she said to me.
"After my mother who was a white dove killed my father a ghoul I promise. No. I swore I would never let myself care for another person. I would never let anyone close. To never get betrayed like that but..I-I fucking hate you Kaneki Ken! I hate you!" She screamed as she pulled me up by my collar. Her ghoul eye appeared by how angry she was. "Is that all" he said looking at her.
I wish I didn't say that to her .. seeing her pained and betrayed face killed me but how can I stay by her side if I can't even protect myself.
Next Day
"Kankei is back he's with the manger!" Roma spoke to Hinami as she cleaned another broken cup. Hinami felt her heart race as she ran quickly to get Touka she wanted to tell Saya but she didn't know where she would be. As she made it to the library she saw Touka. "Hinami..?" Touka questioned. "It's Kaneki!" Hinami said out of breathe. Touka' eyes widen but didn't say a word and flew out of her chair knocking it down.
Saya was waking around the city as it was her day off by 'walking' she was jumping rooftop to rooftop. Enjoying the chilly air hitting her face. She stopped as she spotted a mixed of emotion Touka screaming at emotionless face Kankei. You couldn't help but feel sad for Touka as she kept fighting Kankei, his leaving hurt her just as much as Hinami.
I just sat on the ledge of the building looking at the sunset taking in the beautiful moment.

"Saya.." I heard his sweet voice call my name that made my heart skip a beat. I just patted the seat next to me not looking at him.
"I would punch you right now but Touka did that for me" I gave him a eye closed smile. In response he laughed lightly embarrassed. "So you were listing huh? Guess you heard that Yoshimura want's me to return.." he said watching the sunset.
"Yea..come back idoit" I said looking at him with tears in my eyes. Kaneki's eyes widen a bit at the sight. He hated himself for making you like this. "Please forgive me.. i just want to protect everyone.. I want to protect you. He said gently wiping your tears. "I think you're scared of ending up alone.." I whispered in his ear as I pulled him in for a hug. How I missed these moments. He's gotten cold. His once warm grey eyes were just as cold. But I couldn't help but run my fingers through his soft white snow hair. I could feel him tense up but he hugged me back tighter.
" you won't end up alone.. we will always be by your side fighting" I said as I let go of him getting up. I looked at the sunset once more tucking my hair behind my ear as the breeze hit my face I had finally suck it up to tell him my plans. Kankei just looked at you with so much care for you and all he could think was 'she's so beautiful..'
"I'll be leaving soon" I said closing my eyes shoving my hands in my pockets. "You're leaving Anteiku??" He's eyes widen. "Yea..this isn't what I want in life ya know ..haha I've been losing sleep and I've also stopped going to Kami University" I gave him a sad smile. "I-I'll come back!" He got closer to you panicking a bit. I shook my head "I'll be leaving to America Kankei" as soon as those words left my mouth I swore I saw his eyes screaming 'regret' "W-why?!" He shook me trying to reason with me. "Look it's not now but I have a feeling something bad is to come so after everything settles down I'll be leaving .. so this is a unofficial goodbye" I smiled sadly "S-Saya .. please just stay here for me.." he looked down as those words weren't ironic coming from him. I couldn't help but blush at his words. "Look Kanke-" " it's Ken remember .." he looked at me blushing. "Well Ken.. why not I don't know.. come with me..?" I quickly covered my mouth as soon as those words left my mouth. Dying in the inside. As his eyes widen in shock at that proposal he stumbled on his words trying to speak up.
"Ahh N-Nevermind I-I have to go see you later Ken!" I quickly ran ignoring him telling me to wait up.
Kaneki Prov
"Well Ken .. why not I don't know..come with me..?" She quickly covered her mouth. Did she really say she wants me to leave with her? As she quickly dismissed what she had said she quickly left as I tried to stop her. I sighed in defeat. So these feelings for her are more than friendship..huh? I laid on the ground staring at the colorful sky. I smiled my heart racing at the thought of waking up to her. "Did you really mean that Saya..?"
