Hey:) A few thing before you read my book:
There's adult launguage and scenes (but nothing too bad)
There are several points of veiw so that the story can move smoother.
If someone says something in italics, it is being said through a mental link shared between werewolves.
Thanks xxx<3
I let the wind flow through my fur in a quick burst of air as I happily pick up my speed. The trees swirl past me in flashes of green and brown. My paws contact silently with the wet ground. I continue to pick up my speed until I reach what I'm looking for--a small house sitting in the middle of a clearing. The house is large, rugged, but sturdy. I watch from the surrounding undergrowth, still shaded by the trees. My eye flicker to the slight movement on the right side of the house, and my ears turn towards the noise.
Mrs. Parks works in her garden, completely oblivious to my presence. I let a sly smile form on my lips before quietly stepping further into the forest. I trot behind a tree and gracefully change out of my wolf form, getting a rush of air on my bare body. I lean down and slip on the sweat pants and baggy t-shirt I had stored here earlier. My long, dark brown locks fall around my face and down to my hips. I straighten and shake my head a bit, still getting used to being back in my human form. I casually walk out into the yard. Mrs. Parks senses my presence and looks up to bow her head slightly in submission.
I understood the Parks' need to submit themselves, but sometimes it made me uneasy. They were the only ones who knew I was back. They were the only people I had suspected to take me back willingly. They were just like me. Werewolves. Although they weren't part of a pack, but they were part of the tribal elders here in Wildern Heights. The tribe was full of werewolves. Most of which would never be apart of the pack. There were only so many in a pack, which protected the tribe and the land.
I was currently going rouge--well, not completely. I had a pack at one time...a long, long time ago. I was staying with the Parks. I had been here for a month or so getting a feel for the landscape again before showing myself to anyone else.
Today was my first day of school. Goodie. The Parks said that I should at least attend school now that I was back. Right, dumb blonde bimbos, and know-it-all players. That's just what I wanted to throw myself into...not.
I roll my eyes as I skip up the steps to my room. I knew I had caught Caleb's attention the moment I walked through the door. Though he didn't say anything, I knew that he was thinking about me. Caleb was sixteen--only a couple months younger than me. He had shaggy blonde hair just like his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Parks, and piercing green eyes. No matter what I did, he was always watching me--he felt this need to make sure I was okay. Whatever.
I rush into my room with abnormal speed and shut the door behind me. It's 7:24am. I have a few minutes to freshen up before school. My room has a queen sized bed in the middle with a couch to the side and a couple chairs. I have my own closet, which my clothes don't even begin to fill up, and bathroom. I walk into the bathroom to check my appearance. Not that I cared really. I just didn't want dirt and leaves in my hair to make people suspicious.
My dark brown locks fall to my waist. My light blue eyes are sparkling with faint amber rings around them. My few freckles barely stand out amongst my lightly tanned skin. I had a fairly toned body, but that just comes with the territory. I brush my hair through a couple times and frown as I have to go through some knots. I go to my closet and change into some black skinny jeans with my red high tops and a light weight, flowy tank. Then I pull my hoddie over my head and sigh. I wouldn't try for acceptance, as I already knew I wouldn't be.
