Aaron's POV:

I smell like dirt and sweat, but I don't care. The pack house is only a few miles away, and I'm quickly gaining speed in my wolf form. I had gone onto Wildern Heights territory to test the waters--see where Abbigail was, who was with her, and who might be guarding her. I hadn't used much of my real strength because I wanted to seem fragile and unimportant to them. When I had kissed her, it was mainly to see if anyone had a connection with her. The alpha--Matt--had obviously imprinted on her. This makes things even more complicated. I have to mate with her before he does.

I felt bad when I attached her to get out. She looked like she was going to rip me to pieces, so I had to do something. Those eyes--those liquid gold eyes made me go weak. I couldn't seem to place where I was, or what was going on... It was weird to say the least.

I walk up to my pack door, quickly shifting and accepting clothes from my beta. He lowers his eyes as a sign of respect. I walk through the back door and into the living room. My pack waits, but I go up to my room to take a shower before anything. I needed to wash away the long journey it took to get from Wildern Heights to Dark Mountain territory. Soon I will be mated with Abbigail. I thought of her soft, plump lips. She had curves in all the right places. Her hair was rich and long... I could definitely feel myself starting to like her. We just needed to break the connections she had with her pack...

Abbigail's POV:

I used to dance when I was younger. I still practice it. It has always been one of those things that when I get stressed out, or when I need a break from everything else, I go dance. I do hip-hop and even a bit of ballet. Free style has to be my favorite. I can just let the beat flow through me. So now, when I'm finally starting to maybe...just maybe have feelings for Matt--I go to the woods with my music player to dance. I know. It sounds like a weird thing to do, but trust me when I say I can kiss ass on a dance floor.

I set my iPod, and my iPod portable player on a rock on the outskirts of the clearing. The sun is out, but the trees shade the clearing. It has started to get pretty hot around here. I close my eyes and take in a few beats of the music before getting into it. It starts off slow--me putting my classical ballet knowledge to good work--and then breaks out into hip-hop.

I incorporate some twists and turns, making everything come together in one swift motion. This would be a lot cooler if I had a dance partner... The song ends, and I jump into the splits, landing spider-man style with my head down. I flip my head back up, pulling the hair out of my face with one hand. And there, standing right at the edge of the clearing, is Kyle.

"Damn," he says with his mouth hanging open. I feel frozen for a second. No one in the pack has ever known that I dance. Not even my brother. It has always been something that I loved to do--even before I left--but I never told anyone outside my dance crew.

"Uh..." I pause without knowing what to say. My sweat pants hang loosely off my hips, and the crop top I wear is revealing my stomach up to my navel, showing off my fabulous abs...haha...

"I didn't know you danced," Kyle says.

"Yeah...I mean, sort of."

Kyle nods and walks over to the iPod dock. I watch as he fiddles with the music until he finds something he likes--Katy Perry's E.T. The music starts, and he walks over to me.
