Caleb's POV:

I wasn't thinking right. I wasn't using my head. When Matt had suggested that we go somewhere after the meeting, I hadn't thought anything about it. Now we are sitting in my living room eating pizza and watching the football game. My living room. My house. Abby's sent. Everywhere.

"Hey Caleb," Daniel asks from upstairs.

"Yeah," I say nervously. Chase and Jake had taken a different route, and they weren't back yet. Nate was silently chewing his nails in the corner.

"Have you had any visitors lately?"

"No," I lie.

There's no response. I feel tense. Matt and Daniel laugh on the couch with Jason and Kile--two new pack members. I tap my foot absentmindedly on the wood floor. Common Abbs, please don't come here...

As if in response, the back door opens. The whole room goes silent. Daniel was on his way down the stairs, but he stops with everyone else and stares as Abbs closes the door behind her without looking up. Oh shit. Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit, oh shit....

She barely even notices anyone until she takes a step into the room and looks up, pulling some of her loose hair behind her ear. Her eyes go wide and instantly land on mine. I hear the TV being muted. No one says anything for a couple seconds, but it feels like hours.

"Um," Abbs gulps. She looks helplessly around the room. Think Caleb, think...

"Babe," I say as I walk across the room--fully aware of the eyes starring daggers at me. I put my arm around a very confused Abbigail and lead her towards the stairs. Daniel backs up--his eyes wide. I bring Abbigail around the corner with Daniel still watching. What to do? What to do?

I reach for my bedroom door, and Abbs shakes her head, but we have to make it look convincing. I push her gently inside and shut the door. Daniel still stares at me in awe. I can feel my face heating up. I was going to get hell from Abbs for this later. I walk to the stairs and start my way down. Matt's eyes hold mine. I've never seen him like this before. It's like he's holding back a beast.

"Why do you have her here?" he snaps.

"We're," God, she's going to kill my ass. "together..."

Everyone is quiet until Hunter laughs.

"You mean you're sleeping with her?" he smirks. I slowly nod.

"Nice..." Daniel smiles. Jason and Kile seem to be lost of words. Nate just stares at me.

The door opens behind us and Chase and Jake walk in.

"What's going on?" Chase asks.

Abbigail's POV:

Why the hell had he let them come here? Why hadn't he called me? What the hell was wrong with them?! I sit on the edge of Caleb's bed. It smells like pine trees in here. He has a plush, green comforter and navy sheets. His pillow is so soft. I lay back and stare at the ceiling. What was Matt going to think? What were they all going to say when they find out I'm Abbigail Johnson?

Caleb had thought in one quick moment. He had thought to make me his girlfriend.

Great. Just great. Guess what that looks like to the whole pack? Yeah, I feel pretty slutty too. I mean, it wouldn't be too bad...Caleb was pretty hot.

The door opens and Caleb steps in. I can see the pack's eyes over the staircase in the living room. I sit up, and Caleb shuts the door. Before I can say anything, Caleb puts a finger to his lips.

'Thay can hear you,' he says.

'What did you do that for!?' I yell back.

He takes a step back from my anger.

'I had no choice,' he whines. 'And Abbs?'

'Yeah?' I ask.

'They can...sense what we're doing, and...' he pauses. 'Me just standing here...'

Ugg. Matt's probably watching through Caleb's eyes right now... I smile sweetly and lay back into Caleb's pillows again.

'Do what needs to be done,' I huff.

Caleb smirks and comes over to the side of the bed. He pulls me into his arms as he sits down and stretches out. I lay my head on his chest. He kisses my forehead. He's actually a pretty good heater. I put one of my legs over his as I snuggle up beside him. He lifts the covers over us and holds me in his arms. I'm not going to lie. This was extremely comfortable, and I easily fell asleep.

I wake up to voices, but do not open my eyes. I can still feel Caleb's arms around me. I feel the heat emitting from his body. His shirt is warm. It smells like mint....

"I can't believe that you're actually with the new girl." Daniel. I can smell others in the room. Hunter, Nate, Jake, Matt, two werewolves that I didn't know. Where is Chase?

"Is she any good?" Hunter asks.

Caleb growls, and his chest vibrates. I can feel Matt sitting at the edge of the bed. The others are on Caleb's couch. Why do they have to be in here?

"So...you guys are like...close?" Matt asks. I sigh in my "sleep" and nuzzle my nose into Caleb's side. That seems to make him happy. Matt growls. What the hell is wrong with this guy?

"Yeah," Caleb answers. I can feel our legs entwined. My arms lays over his torso, and my hair flows down my back.

"Why didn't you tell us?" Hunter asks.

"I dunno...I just thought it wasn't that big of a deal..."

"What's her name?" Matt asks. Here's the tricky part. We can't call me something I'm not because all the teachers know my name, and it's in the school register...

"Abby," Caleb says.

"Cute," one of the two werewolves I don't recognize says. I feel like ripping him apart. I. am. not. cute.

"Mmmh," Caleb mumbles in agreement.

'Yeah, you're next,' I think into my link.

Caleb shudders slightly.

"Guys don't you think you should go?" he asks.

I hear a bit of movement. Ah, finally relief.

"One more thing," Matt says. He's the last one in the room.

"Yeah?"

"She's mine."
