This story is based on a Doctor Who episode, I do not own the plot or any of it's characters aside from Mary.

Once the Doctor was pushed out of Mary's head, he goes to check on Donna. He tells her everything he knows about her and everything she knows about him. Donna says she will stay with Evalina until she wakes up so he goes into the main room. He takes Mary's advice to check the vents. Among other things, he learns that the vents are connected directly to vesivius and all oracles breathe in the smoke from the vents. After that he and Quentin go to visit Lucius' house. Once there, they learn that Lucius' right arm is made completely of stone and that he has five other marble circuts that assemble an energy converter. The two are chased out and down the streets back to Quentin's home by loud footsteps from underground. When they get inside, Caesilius, his wife, a few of his employees, Donna, Evalina, and Mary are standing around.

"All of you, we need to get out, now!" The Doctor comands.

"Doctor, whats going on?" Donna asks

"I think we're being folowed." Then a loud roaring sound fills the room and one of the vents is destroyed. Out of the hole comes a giant, stone centurian, being held together by lava and fire.

"The gods are with us!" Evalina says

"Everyone, we need water, get water!" The Doctor yells

"Blessed are we to see the gods" one employee says. The stone soldier breathes fire on him and he burns alive. Mary, Donna, and some other men run out of the room to get water. The Doctor raises his hands and walks towards the soldier.

"Talk to me, that's all I want! I just need you to talk to me! I'm the Doctor, just please tell me what you want!" he yells at it. The soldier is about to let out another burst of fire when Quentin fills a bowl full of water from the pond and throws it at it. The fires inside it slowly burn out and the creature crumbles.

"What was it?" Caecilius asks

"A creature made of stone, held together by internal magma" The Doctor explains "not too dificult to stop, but I reckon that's just the foot soldier."

"Doctor, or whatever your name is," Matila says "You bring bad luck on this household" Mary steps forward and says

"I thought Quentin did a great job, saving all our lives. Aren't you gonna thank him?" Caecilius and Matila pull Quentin in for a hug. The Doctor turns to Mary and asks

"How 'bout you, are you okay?" she nods and says

"Yea, I'm fine. Much better now, actually"

"And how about you, Donna?" He turns and looks around the room, but can't find her.

"Donna?" no response

"Donna!"
