It had been another hour and still no sight of Kakashi Sensei and the princess.

The kids were becoming impatient at this point. Mostly Sakura and Naruto having an immature fight over something stupid. Or whining because he wasn't here yet. While Sasuke just kinda sat with arms crossed in front of him.

Which you couldn't really blame them on that part. You found it just as unnerving that he was late, if not more. But on the bright side you were able to catch up on a bit of sleep.

You were sure they hadn't seen you yet. As you didn't make much noise, if any, from your current position.

Glancing down at Sasuke you couldn't help but study him.

It couldn't have been easy working through what he has. Yet, he's come out so incredibly strong. It's something you admired about him really.

Through the years you always wondered how much he knew about what happened. Most of the other leaders and people you knew were pretty good about keeping their mouths shut.

You didn't want to burden him with anymore terrible memories about his brother. He had gone through too much already.

You were brought out of your gaze when you saw Naruto point out two approaching figures.

"It's about time you showed up!"

"Yeah, Kakashi Sensei. We've been waiting forever!!!" Sakura whined.

Kakashi did one of his famous one-eyed smiles and rubbed the back of his neck. "Sorry guys, I was-"

He was cut off by a series of 'Whatevers', 'Yeah rights', and 'save it already'.  All threw of them letting out irritated huffs at their Sensei.

His eyes scanned across the faces in from of him. "It seems we are missing someone."

Realization struck their faces remembering there is supposed to be one more in attendance.

So they really hadn't noticed me

"No you're not. I've been right here." You spoke, gazing at your fellow teammates.

They all searched for the source of your voice. Heads looking left and right.

"Up here." you sang.

Looks of surprise flashed across their faces. Sasukes being the most evident as he look above him. All of them now staring at you now.

"How long have you been there?!" Naruto asked, dumbfounded.

"Since before you three got here." you shrugged. Making your way down the tree in one quick swoop. You dusted off your clothes and pulled your backpack out from behind the tree.

"Hello, you must be Princess Yuri of the Cloud Village, it's a pleasure to meet you your grace." You bowed slightly. Looking back at the three Genin watching this play out. Signalling for them to get up.

They took the hint. All speedily rushing to their feet.

"My name is Aliyah Sarutobi and I will be assisting on your travel home."

You stood up straight and took in her appearance. She dressed how you'd expect a princess to dress. Intricate designs adorned her silk dress. Her nails buffed and polished. Her medium length black hair pulled back into a neat bun on her head.

She offered you a sweet smile.

"Wonderful to meet you as well Ms. Sarutobi. I can't wait to take on this journey with you all. I have no doubts you are fully able to protect me."
