Yukana walked to the coffee shop to order some hot chocolate. At the same time, she texted her best friend about her new school. Her best friend is Akarui Ikana, she and Yukana were friends ever since they were in kindergarden. She then saw Akarui come by with some papers and sat with her. "Hey Yukana, are you ready for your first day?" she asked her. Yukana shyly nodded. She was pretty nervous about her new school. Although she is pretty calm most of the time, she was terrified when she transfers school. "Don't be afraid, you know I'm transferring to the same school as you so you'll be fine I promise." Akarui said comforting her. Yukana nodded and smiled. She loves it when Akarui is there for her.
Then a senior boy came in the coffee shop and ordered for a drink. Yukana took a glance at the boy and blushed- it was Light Yagami. A lot of girls in her new school have huge crushes on him. He looked at her and Yukana turned away, her face was red. "What's wrong, do you know him?" Akarui asked her. "I've heard of him, just never met him," she replied. Akarui nodded in response. "Well, why are you flustered?" she asked her. Yukana gave no response. "Oh I get it." Akarui said and then she mover closer to her so no one but Yukana could hear. "Do you have a crush on him?" she asked smirking. Yukana blushed even more. This made Akarui's smirk even wider. "It's okay, I won't tell anyone, promise." she said showing her crossed fingers. Yukana nodded and continued to drink her hot chocolate.
Yukana went out of the coffee shop and was on her way home. " Hey baby!" a happy voice came out. She then looked back with fear. She saw gangsters come near her. The tallest one came up right in front of her. "What's up sexy, how 'bout you come hang out with us?" he asked her. " But I need to go home, I have to study," she said worriedly. The gang started laughing. She was about to run away, until the tallest one grabbed her and pinned her to the wall. "You're not going anywhere, darling." he said as he unbuttoned her shirt. The weather was super chilly so she was freezing as her chest was half exposed. She did have a bra on but she won't in a couple of seconds. All of the gang were staring at her chest. "HELP ME!" Yukana cried out. Suddenly she heard yelling. She opened her eyes and saw that the gang leader was lying on the ground, dead. The other gang members were looking at him with horror. "He just collapsed!" said one of them. They all turned and ran away.
Yukana was confused. And she was freezing. A jacket was placed on her. She then looked behind her. It was Light. "Are you okay?" he asked her. She nodded. "Oh we haven't meet before. I'm Light Yagami, you?" he asked her. "Yukana Akiyama." she replied. They smiled; then Yukana said she had to leave. "Wait, it's best I walk you home." Light said. She nodded. So they walked to her house. "Thanks Light." she said. He nodded and turned to leave.
"Wait Light! Your jacket." she called out. Light turned around. "You can keep it." he said. 😱 He left right afterwards. Yukana went up to her room and placed the jacket carefully in her closet.
What exactly happened in the street? Did Light have something to do with it?
