Chapter 12

Light's POV

Another day of killing another dangerous criminal. The reason I chose to just kill criminals is because as a Kira, I can become the god of a better world. And once I become the ruler, I can make Yukana my goddess. There's no turning back now. I went to my room and started studying for the entrance exams that are coming up soon. If I pass, then I will go to a really good college. I turned on the news and watched it while studying. 

The News: Kira 2.0?

"This morning, a wanted criminal was found dead from a heart attack, and his victims are somehow alive. They claim that they remember being killed, were dead and then suddenly alive again. It could be Kira, but this time it's different, because the victims are alive. Could there be a Kira that gives life instead of taking it? Or perhaps our Kira can do both? The police are investigating now," the news reporter said.

Light turned off the news.

 Oh god. If anyone knows that I'm Kira, I'm screwed. Yukana is in trouble as well, she could get caught since she's Kira, but a Kira of life. I had to warn her. I changed into my t shirt and jacket with sweat pants and went downstairs. "Mom, I'll be going to Yukana's house." I said. She nodded and let me go. I went out of my house and ran to Yukana's place. I knocked on her door. The door opened, revealing a 9 year old girl. This must Seikatsu, Yukana's sister. "Hi are you Yukana's friend? Or are you her boyfriend?" she said smirking. I blushed a little. "No, I'm her friend, is she home?" I asked her. She nodded. "Ane-chan, your boyfriend's here!" she said laughing. I blushed so red. I'm not her boyfriend, but I have developed feelings for Yukana. She came down blushing so red because of what her sister said. "Oh hey Light, come on up, we'll talk there." she said. I nodded. She led me to her room. " So what is it Light?" she asked me. " The news reporter was talking about how the murderer died and how the victims were revived. I'm starting to think that the police might find out that we're both Kira." I explained. Her eyes widened in shock. 

Yukana's POV

Oh no. If they find out that Light and I are Kira, then we'll surely be executed. The only solution is to hope that the police don't find out. "And many people believe that it was just a god or maybe a Kira did this. Which was actually true. So you and I have to be more cautious about this." he said. I nodded. We realized our faces were too close while we were talking. We both turned our heads away. Then the door opens. "Yukana, I want help on homework please-" Seikatsu said but cut off when she saw Light in my room. "Oooooooh Yukana has a boyfriend......" she said smirking. "SEIKATSU!!" I said blushing so hard. Why, Seikatsu??????
