A New Beginning Part 21

He took in another breath, then pulled me into his arms and hugged me tightly, then moved back and looked at me.

" Are you okay? "

" Yeah and so is she. "

I hated seeing him hurting this badly, even though he was trying so hard not to show it.

" Good. " He said with a broken smile.

The next couple weeks, we all searched for Amara, but she had ditched Sam's car, so we had nothing to go on. Ont op of all of that stress, things between me and the brothers, were so messed up. They were both so stand offish, which I completely understood why. Every time Sam looked at me, I could see the pain behind the smile, and the same with Dean. All I wanted was to finally be with Dean, the way I used to be, but it just wasn't possible right now.

" Alright, we got nothing. We can get back at it tomorrow. " Dean closed his computer, and made his way to his room, closing the door behind him. I was so lost, and I was so close to my breaking point, I could feel it. I let out a frustrated sigh, then went into my room. I didn't bother changing out of my clothes. I pulled the blanket over me and tried to get some sleep. After a few hours of tossing and turning, I sat up and took in a deep breath. I thought for a minute, got out of bed and walked down the dimmed hallway. I hesitated at the door, then knocked. After a minute, it opened and I seen those brown eyes.

" What's up? " He asked, rubbing his eyes, still half asleep.

When I just looked at him, he knew that I was hurting. He opened the door, so I could come in. I sat down on the bed and looked around his room. He had finally put his own touch on the room. He had books everywhere, a mirror on his wall, and pictures on a shelf beside it. The one in the middle of him and Jade was the one that pulled at my heart strings and broke me. He sat down next to me, more awake then he was a minute ago.

" You okay? "

" This is just a little more than I think I can handle Sam. " I said softly, fighting the tears that threatened to fall.

" What do you mean? "

" Sam, you and Dean have been extremely distance, and I get why. I mean I know that all you wish I was her. "

His face went soft.

" Bec, I don't want you to think..."

" I don't. but I know that this has been hard on you Sam. "

" You had to do it. "

Right then, I thought of something. I closed my eyes, then Jade opened hers to see Sam sitting in front of her.

" Sam. " She said softly.

He looked at her for a second and he knew it was her, he felt it.

" Jade. "

A smiled pulled at her lips as he ran his hand across her face and smiled.

" Hey. " She smiled, so happy to be able to see him.

He hesitated, kissed her passionately then put his forehead to hers and let out a sigh of relief and comfort.

" I miss you. " He whispered.

She let out a shaky breath.

" I miss you too. "

He looked at her, and all of his emotions came crashing down and she seen it.

" Look, I don't want to leave things like this. "

" What? "

" We need to talk about this Sam. "
