Sam and Dean kept doing what they did best for about a year, when Dean caught a case.
" We got a vamp. "
" Where at? " Sam asked, looking over his shoulder at the computer.
Sam's heart skipped a beat.
" Isn't that where. "
" Yeah. " Was all Sam could say.
" Let's go ." Sam pulled on his jacket.
" You sure? " Dean hesitated.
" It's a case Dean. "
" Alright. "
After a long 24 hour drive, they made it to a small town in California.
" We get a few hours of sleep and get on it first thing in the morning. " Dean said, locking the door behind him.
" I;m going to take a shower. "
The minuet Dean's head hit the pillow, he was out. Sam took a hot shower, then got dressed. He ran his hand over his face, grabbed Dean's keys, then took off down the highway. He drove for about 20 minutes then pulled up in front of a white house. He turned off the car, hesitated then knocked on the door. His heart skipped a beat when the door opened. Those blue eyes were all he seen.
" Sam. " Jade chocked out, stunned to see him.
" Hey Jay. "
Her fluttered.
" What are you doing here? " She stepped onto the porch, closing the door.
" Dean and I caught a case, thought you might have some info on it. "
She took in a deep breath, when her life with the Winchester brothers flooded into her brain.
" When I left, I left that life behind me. "
" Good. " Sam smiled softly, not really knowing what else to say.
This was just awkward, but it was worth it to see her face again.
" I'm sorry, I shouldn't have just shown up like this. "
Before he turned and walked off the porch, she called his name.
" You wanna come in for a beer? "
He couldn't help but smile.
" Yeah. "
She opened the door and Sam followed her inside. Sam looked around as they made their way into the big kitchen. It was defiantly her. She passed him a beer and sat at the table.
" You look like you've done well for yourself. "
Jade couldn't help but smile.
" I've done alright. "
She took a drink of her beer and set it on the table, picking at the label.
" How about you and Dean? "
" Things are pretty good I guess. Cas got Purgatory and Heaven under control, and Crowley hasn't been around which has been nice. " He said with a little laugh.
" Jade who owns that beast of a car in our. "
The blonde haired woman stopped when she seen Sam.
" I'm sorry, I didn't know we had company. "
Jade shook her head.
" Emma this is Sam. Sam this is my pain in the ass roommate Emma. "
