Warning: Bakugou swears in this chapter. A LOT. For those of you guys who are sensitive to that, I'd suggest that you skip the scene where Deku is trying to talk to him when they meet outside.
December 6th"I LIKE BAKUGOU," Uraraka practically confessed to the world.
It kept rewinding over and over in Bakugou's head. Sure, people had told him that they thought he was decently attractive (if they were brave enough to even talk to him). To be told that they had a crush on him, even indirectly, it never happened until today. He didn't know how to react.
The crumpled dollars in his hand fluttered to the floor. He was planning on getting some Takis, but it looked like he walked right where he wasn't supposed to be. Just like how he had seen Deku and Todoroki being gross and lovesick over each other on the balcony a few days ago. It wasn't his place to meddle with that situation. He could, if he wanted to, but Izuku hadn't really done anything particularly wrong to him lately. As long as Deku knew that Bakugou was at the top of the class's pedestal and didn't confront him, then he'd leave him alone. For now.
But this situation was a lot different. He wasn't at all interested what anyone in Class 1-A was up to. Deku could go make out with half-and-half for all he cared. When these kind of things were intercepting with his own life, then he cared.
He hadn't been intentionally eavesdropping on Uraraka. He was minding his own business, passing through the halls. It was her own fault that she screamed so loudly.
Bakugou huffed. He was feeling frustrated. Nothing new, but this time in particular, his mind was buzzing. He didn't know how to deal with this situation. Did he even like pink cheeks? No, damn it. He wanted to know what Kirishima would do. Fuck that, he was independent. He could solve this by his own damn self.
He picked up the money on the floor, but when it made contact with his palms, it exploded into ashes. Why were his palms so sweaty? Guess the Takis had to wait.
In the meantime, he'd have to meet with Deku. He hated that little bastard, but he knew they were on some level of understanding. After their fight, and learning about his 'borrowed' quirk, he figured out that Deku might not hate him as much as he thought. But they were rivals, and there was no way that Bakugou wanted that to change.
He threw a fierce punch at the wall next to him to get rid of the sweat on his hands, and even though it left a pretty big charred dent, he paid no mind. All he cared about was retrieving his phone from his pocket without it exploding in his own hands. It seemed uncontrollable right now, which was really out of the ordinary.
He plunged his hand into his pocket and retrieved his phone. He pounded a text to Deku, being secretly grateful that he kept his number somewhere. He had been tempted to delete it more times than he could think.
'Listen bastard. I want to meet you outside at midnight. You better show up.'
With that, he veered out of the hallway onto another path. He needed Takis and he was going to get them no matter what the cost. Even if he had to pay to repair the school wall that he had just punched.
Izuku was, to say the least, very nervous. He was praying that he hadn't upset Bakugou again, in any way, shape, or form. Last time that Bakugou was mad, they dueled it out on school campus. They both ended up in so much trouble and endured an endless amount of work from Aizawa.
All that he knew was while he and Uraraka were confessing their sins and deepest darkest secrets, there was a deafening explosion from another hall. They were both terrified for a moment, assuming the worst. Had the League of Villains attacked their school? They were about to turn on their heels and run back, but then Midoriya's phone chirped.
