Impossibly Possible

Black lipstick stains my cheeks
And a steady thud echo's in my chest.
My legs fail,
And by this beauty I am brought to my knees.
I feel the blood rush swiftly to my face
And my vocabulary is wiped clean.
I am stunned by this magnificent work of nature,
This girl, so impossibly gorgeous.
And I, so unworthy of her touch, am the boy she desires.
Her fingertips leave pins and needles where ever they roam,
Her soft voice leaves a ringing in my ears.
My being was not made for such perfection,
It is unable to handle her glory.
My body shuts down in the presence of such grace,
And I feel all of my worries and sadness slip briskly away,
Joy completely taking over me.
It is like a warm breeze,
It washes over me so calmly I barely remember what I had felt prior.
This girl, so impossibly possible,
Now is mine to hold.
