After days of travelling to try and get away from the letters, we ended up on a small hut on a large rock in the middle of the sea, on a stormy night as well as Dudley and Harry, were sleeping on the moth eaten couch while I was on the floor, with the smallest blanket that wouldn't keep me warm as the rain pelted, and the thunder and lightning crashed.
I however unlike everyone else, couldn't get to sleep as I was drawing on the floor in the dirt with a smile on my face.
"Make a wish, Worth?" I whispered to myself as I drew a star on the floor. A wishing star. I knew my wish: I just want someone too care. I thought to myself as a tear streaked down my cheek.
However as I said that, a crash came from the door. Making Dudley and Harry scream as they scrambled to the back and I got up from the floor and hid behind a wall, but smirked as Vernon and Petunia came down the stairs with a gun. I knew exactly who it was.
"Who's there? Vernon asked with panic as I knew that he shouldn't have a gun in the house with us kids. And besides, no one can hear him above the crashing.
"Ahh!" Petunia screamed with fright.
"Ahh!" Harry and Dudley screamed.
The four screamed as the door came crashing down. I hid around the corner and Dudley and Harry pressed themselves against the wall.
A giant man entered the building. "Sorry abou' that." Hagrid said and I breathed with relief, it was Hagrid from when he collected us on Halloween.
"I demand that you leave at once, sir. You are breaking and entering!" Vernon demanded to the half giant and I shook my head. That wasn't going to work with Hagrid.
"Oh!" Petunia said with fright as Hagrid approached them.
"Dry up, Dursley, yeh great prune." Hagrid said as he then bent the gun destroying it as I winced at the loud sound was my ears twitched rapidly.
"Now where's lil Worthless and Harry? Why I haven't seen you since you were a baby Harry, bit more a long than I expect particularly round the middle but where's your sister?" Hagrid asked looking at Dudley.
"I-I'm not Harry." Dudley spoke and Harry smirked.
"I am." Harry said confidently and Hagrid looked around and I sighed silently as I stepped out nervously, not knowing what to expect from the Half Giant.
"And I'm Worth." I said with less confidence than Potter.
"Well, of course you both are! Got somethin' fer yeh Harry. 'Fraid I might have sat on it at some point, but I imagine it'll taste fine just the same, ah. Ahh, baked it myself, words and all." Hagrid said passing a box to Harry which had a birthday cake.
"Wow." Harry said and smirked to me and he turned to Hagrid. I though didn't care, I was used to this all the time.
"It's not every day a young man turns eleven, now it is? Eh?" Hagrid said and then sat on the couch making it collapse under his weight and he pulled out an umbrella and he used it to start a fire.
Harry set the cake down but I was cautious as I looked to the Half Giant. "Who are you?" Harry demanded and I looked to Potter, no manners as always.
"Rubeus Hagrid, Keeper of Keys and Grounds at Hogwarts. Of course, you'll know all about Hogwarts." Hagrid said and I shook my head. I hardly knew due to the Potters, but I knew from Sirius and Remus.
"No." Harry said and I wanted to speak. "I don't."
"No? Blimey, Harry and Worth, didn't you ever wonder how your mum and dad learned it all?" Hagrid said with bewilderment. I however would never call Lily and James my parents, EVER.
