When I came back to my chambers I washed into my normal cold shower, and then went out as I changed into my school robes and brushed my hair. I was ready as I grabbed my books and went out, I had come out early as I knew I did.
When I came to the hall I looked around but I didn't sense Hermione, Neville and Draco were here yet and I didn't feel like having any breakfast due to my stomach protested and I knew if I ate anything, I would be sick.
I walked outside into the grounds as I then sat down by the lake as I felt the autumn breeze ruffle my hair. I was free. It may not be perfect, it may be where everyone kisses the ground Potter walked on, but I wasn't abused. That I couldn't ever get used to but...I was safe but not from the bullying of Potter.
As I knew time was getting on, I knew I had to make my way to class as I walked back to the castle along the corridor when I was suddenly tripped and I heard three people.
"Watch where your going, Worthless." Harry sneered an chucked her bag away and then smirked as he walked away with the others.
I frowned as I groaned and searched for my bag, knowing I'll be late for Mcgonagall.
"Mcgonagall is going to kill me." I muttered when I felt someone there and I looked to sense Neville. What a relief that it wasn't Potter or the two cronies he picked up.
"Need help? I saw Potter, Weasley and Finnigan and I got lost." Neville said and grabbed Worth's bag and I stood up.
"Thanks. Do you know where we're going?" I asked and Neville grabbed her hand and walked, as we both ran around the corridors looking for the Transfiguration classroom, we were so in trouble.
As we suddenly found the classroom, we both ran in and I panted as my ears twitched to hear any yelling from the professor, but nothing. That's unusual but I felt her presence, but where? My eyes and ears shifted a something on the desk of a cat. An Animagus, should have known really with my gift.
"Phew. We made it. At least Mcgonagall isn't here yet." Neville said and Hermione and Draco looked worried as they sat together. Harry, Seamus and Ron Weasley smirked with high fives.
"I wouldn't say that Nevs." I whispered to my friend. "She's in Tabby Cat form on her desk." I whispered and Neville paled as suddenly the cat jumped transforming to Mcgonagall.
"Now, Ms Worthless..." Minerva said and she flinched slightly at the name. "Mr Longbottom your both late for class. Perhaps it would be more useful if I transfigured Ms Worthless and yourself into a pocket watch? That way one of you might be on time."
"We got lost." I muttered, hoping not to get hurt and knowing that if I told her, she wouldn't of believed me.
"Then, perhaps a map? I trust you don't need one to find your seats." Minerva said and I blanched not knowing where to sit, when Hermione dragged her down next to her. I sighed with relief as I then grabbed my quill when I felt it, and then I clicked my fingers quietly and the quill started to write down the notes and Hermione nodded in acceptance seeing the notes being written down. At least Worth could get help.
After class when we had to transfigure matched, into needles, I was the only one to get it prefect and Hermione came in second with Draco, Neville was still struggling but Mcgonagall gave us rare smiles but after, we had potions, and I knew that was Snape's class.
And I was looking forward too it.
