As I woke up I rubbed my eyes as I wasn't woken up, why didn't Hagrid wake me up? I was confused. "Fawkes? Why didn't they wake me up?"
"Harry wanted to leave you behind, Hagrid did reluctantly." Fawkes said and I frowned with sadness as I felt him rub against me.
"Alright, I better get my stuff and head off then." I whispered with my voice trying to not crack with tears, at how forgotten I really am. It hurt that Hagrid didn't wake me up, I'm a Hogwarts student as well not just Harry Stinking Potter.
As I grabbed my trunk, Fawkes flamed out, knowing he couldn't come as I then left the pub towards Kings Cross which wasn't far from here. But it was a struggle when I couldn't see anything and relied on my hearing as I nearly got ran over and me shouted out to watch it. I can't watch it can I! I'm blind idiots! I thought harshly at the remarks given to me as I walked within the station. Anything could happen to a blind girl on their own but the thing was, no one knew I was blind, they thought I could see and that's how I'm gonna keep it.
As I went I was bumped into by people as I muttered and flicked my ears trying to navigate the train station and let me tell you it's bloody difficult! I walked around when I heard a station guard talking to someone and I knew I needed help if I was going to get to the train on time.
"Excuse me! Excuse me!" I said as I walked to the train station guard.
"On your left madam." The guard said and the guard looked to me. "Yes ma'am?"
"I'm wondering if you could help me find platform 9 and 10. I'm supposed to meet my family by the third post and unfortunately with circumstances with me being blind I can't see it." I informed, hoping he wouldn't want to wait around for my family to come and join me because I'm blind.
"Of course, madam. Right this way." The guard said and I was relieved at that as I followed him the best as I could with him guiding me to the barriers. "This is the third one. Now if that's all I have to go now, have a good day." He said and went and I smiled with relief that he didn't want to wait with me, I could understand why they would due to I'm a danger to myself here but I didn't want that as I then lined up in front of the wall.
I then ran quickly as I felt the magic rush over me as I ran, and suddenly I was on the other side of the barrier where I could hear the train and other students and their families.
My ears flick as I looked to the train that I knew was scarlet red and black as smoke came with the sign saying Platform 9 and 3/4. I was beaming as I made my way to find my seat to go to Hogwarts.
As I walked I tried to not bump into anyone as I got to the guard. "Here you go, dear." The guard said and I nodded in thanks and then made my way on the train, trying to not trip on the steps as I went in. That would be a disaster.
As I walked down the corridor, I got to one where I knew no one was in as I went in and shut the door and sat myself near the window and I knew I was in for an adventure in the Wizarding world, I could feel it and hopefully, I get to see Sirius and Remus again.
