"How are you feeling, dear?"
"Umm I'm fine? I'm absolutely stunning, mom. I feel so good I wanna dance around in this room right now right here in this big white dress. Exciting, isn't it?" I exclaimed in one breath.
My mother clearly giving up plopped down onto one of the chairs and started talking to my Aunt.
I sighed and looked at myself in the mirror. Face complete with make up and finishing touches. Hair properly done. Everything looked perfect except that my poor heart in my chest wouldn't stop beating uncontrollably.
Ever since my mom came up to me and told me that "I looked pretty" and that "Jungkook is so lucky", I kind of freaked out.
I was about to get married and spend the rest of my life with one man and one man only.
It was terrifying.
The whole ordeal.
Was I making the right decision?
Who was to know?
I need to get that ice cream right now.
Talking about ice creams.
"Minaaaa. Where you at?" I shouted and as soon as I did I heard footsteps scurrying towards the room and a very disheveled Mina entering through the door.
I raised one of my brows at her appearance and asked, "What have you been up to?"
"Nothing."
"Well it sure has to be something cause you forgot my ice cream I asked like a decade back."
"Oh, shoot. I'm so sorry. I'll be right back with the vanilla ice cream?"
"Chocolate."
"Right." And she dashed out of the room.
"And it better be two big scoops of it!" I shouted.
"Roger that!" I heard her shout back.
Mina was my best friend. We both were the most unlikely pair of high school. I met her somewhere during middle school at a common friends birthday party and were stuck with each other ever since.
I huffed as soon as she left and went back to staring at my familiar but at the same time unfamiliar reflection on the mirror and after a few seconds passing I found Jimin come up to me. I smiled at him through the mirror. And all of a sudden him smiling back at me wiped away all of my worries.
At that moment I was just happy that he was there with me.
I stood up and turned to face him and his smile grew wider.
"You are the most beautiful bride I've ever seen."
"Jimin, you haven't seen any bride before." I whispered back amused while I felt heat rush up to my cheeks.
"Well then you will be the most beautiful bride I'll ever see." He said as a matter of factly.
"You think?"
"I know." He said in a proud manner.
I couldn't stop smiling at that my lips tugging upwards but never finding it's way down.
But after a few seconds of me smiling up at him I felt the similar feeling of fear again.
"I'm scared, Chim." At that he looked up to my eyes. "What if I screw up. Don't get me wrong. I love Kookie. But, I don't know if this wedding is the best decision."
