A sharp pain in my lower abdomen woke me up from sleep the next morning. My hand automatically went to my stomach.
Is it that time of the month already?
Another spike of pain answered my question.
I fetched my phone from the side table to look at the time. It read 10:00 am.
Damn, I slept for so long? Jungkook must have left for work already. Why didn't he wake me up?
Oh, right.
It had been a few days since that night. But I still couldn't get used to it. It would probably take some time. We've been married for 2 years and been together for almost 8 years now. Nothing was easy at this point.
I then got up to find the familiar red spot on the bedsheets. I had to clean that up as soon as possible. I would have to visit the nearest store as well to buy pads. I had one in my side bag, for now that would work.
Oh, and pills for the cramps I was going to have all day. Just thinking about it made me irritated. But I had no way to identify the irritation as pms or just me being me.
Jimin had already left for work an hour ago. He left a note on the fridge saying that and it also said that he had left me something for breakfast on the table. But I had lost my appetite already (for more than one reasons).
After getting ready and putting on my hoodie and comfortable pants, I left the house, closing the door behind me.
...
As I opened the door to Jimin's apartment, the plastic carrying the pads and pills and other stuff on my left hand, the first thing I noticed were a pair of white sneakers splayed on the floor. They were too small to be a mans (though I wouldn't be surprised if they were Jimin's).
I carefully tiptoed my way outside the living room. I peeked into the room to find a woman sitting on the sofa. She was facing away from me so I couldn't make out who it was.
Taking a defensive pose I slowly went behind the woman, curled my hand up in a fist and swinged my arm with the intention to knock the woman out in front of me. When suddenly she turned around to reveal a familiar face.
"Mina?" I exclaimed, but my hand were still up in the air.
The said woman quizzically looked at me and then the position of my hand. "Were you going to hit me right now?" She asked.
At that I looked at my hand and then back at her and instantly dropped my hand to my side. "Ahh..n-no I wasn't, I was, I was just exercising" I chuckled nervously.
She rolled her eyes at that. "Sure you were." And then got up and walked towards me and took me in a hug which almost knocked the wind out of me.
"What's with everyone hugging me? I'm not a plushie." I laughed out.
She let me go and uttered an apology to which my expression changed into affection.
She didn't have to apologize. No one did and unfortunately nothing I would say would make them not feel guilty. And that made me feel worse.
She pulled me and sat me down beside her on the sofa.
"How are you feeling today?" She asked.
A small smile danced on my lips at that. It had been too long since anyone had asked me that question. Only one's closest, most intimate friends would do that. Mina was close to my heart and I planned on never leaving her. That is, if she didn't leave me first. If I were lucky. But luck lately hasn't taken my side.
As much as I wanted to answer her question, I couldn't really construct an answer. I really didn't know how I was feeling. And so I answered, "I don't know, Mina."
She looked at me along with an understanding nod. Without any further questions, which she had the full right to, she got up and asked, "You wanna have some ramyeon? I was waiting for you to come so I could make it for you."
"Yes, I'd love to." I replied with a warm smile.
She went to the kitchen to start making it.
Suddenly a thought struck my mind. "Hey, Mina?" I called out.
"Yeah."
"How did you get in?" I asked.
"Oh, I just have a spare key to this apartment." And as she said that I saw her freeze midway and so did I.
"Mina, why do you have a spare key to Jimin's apartment?"

Third person p.o.v.
Taehyung stood in front of Jungkook and Y/n's house for a good 5 minutes, fidgeting with the string of his hoodie. He was nervous to ring the bell and visit his best friend and he didn't know in what condition he would find him.
After taking in a long breath he rung the bell.
Two seconds later he could hear shuffling on the other side of the door.
And then, Jungkook opened the door, in shock to find none other than his best friend standing there.Taehyung was not only met with a disheveled man clad in sweatpants and a shirt, which he probably stayed in for days, but also a very weird stale smell from the house.
"Can I come in?", Taehyung asked.
Jungkook then, coming back to his senses, made way for Taehyung to get in.
What Taehyung saw once he got inside was not pleasant at all.
The windows were all closed and the house was dark overall. In the living room, he saw beer cans splayed on the floor along with soju bottles. In the kitchen he could spot many cup noodles thrown carelessly. And the house looked like it didn't get any cleaning ever since...well ever since Y/n left.
He looked back at Jungkook to find him stare back at Taehyung with doubt.
"So, why are you here, hyung?"
