SAM'S P.O.V
Now I have a serious business with Riley. I was thinking all ngiht after the show and the bus party, about what he did to me in front of the crowd. I opened Twitter this morning and like over a thousand mentions attacked my account because of Riley. They had some speculations out there, and I don't want it to happen because that's so not professional. We got nothing between us, right? As much as I wanted to, but we have nothing.
Today we went straight to the next venue. Lonnie has been driven us since early morning and we're still halfway there, so many hours to come. The boys were at the front lounge, playing cards or something. I decided to stay in my bunk.
"Sam, what are you doing? Sam?" Thomas 'knocked' my bunk. No, actually he didn't knock. You know the bunks have only curtains so practically it can't be knocked. Thomas was rather just put his fingers on my bunk's curtain, pretend to knock. Yeah, sort of.
"Reading books, Tommy." I opened the curtain. "There's something?"
"Yeah, come on join the card tournament!" He cheered.
"Whoa I'm not the best one dude."
"At least join us, come on!" He pulled my hand so I can do nothing but following him to the front.
"Well hello lady McDonough!" Connor stood up and kissed my forehead, then gave me his seat. He was always being the sweetest.
"Thank you..." I sit, which actually by Riley's side. He soon squeezed me on his hug.
The boys started to play again. Toby won. Then Ryan won. And Riley won. Three games, three winners.
"I win!" Riley cheered and hugged me so tightly and everybody saw it. I turned red.
"Yeah...yeah congrats!" I cheered back, hopefully not so awkward.
"Guys, we're 15 minutes away! Get ready!"
Lonnie has shouted from his kingdom seat, so we soon split up. Changing, taking stuff, everything. There'll be another show tonight. Which means, there'll be another 30 minutes of acoustic session again.
I put my stuff on my bag, and carried it to the front lounge. I was the first one who's finished. I even spent 5 minutes hanging out with Lonnie. I actually need to discuss with Riley about the tonight's acoustic session but I'm not in the mood. What? I'm a girl too, anyway.
"Alright! We're here! Good luck for the show, Sammy!" Lonnie hugged me. Yeah he called me Sammy. I don't know. Only Lonnie the Daddy who did it.
"Bye Lonnie, see you soonest! Wish me luck!"
"All the way everyday, sweetheart!"
I jumped out of the bus and went straight to the backstage. I should be the one who got there and unloaded the stuff really quick, so I wouldn't meet Riley in person. I don't feel like talking to him. And the acoustic session? Just leave it like that. God will help, right.
Unloading the stuff with the help from my band member, I did it in 15 minutes. Perfect score. I ran to the bathroom with my huge bag. Got dressed pretty quick, put some make-up on, dyed my hair, and went outside. I decided to sit in the green room while everybody still busy on preparing their stuff. But then I did help Thomas too with his drums. There are some heavy ones, so yeah. I love this drummy boy. We got really close too.
"Done with the stuff, girl?" Thomas asked. We were working with his drums.
"Yeah, pretty quick right?" I exclaimed.
"Really fast. Lucky you only have guitar. Look at this."
"Haha... I'll help you from now on, Tommy. Don't worry."
"Thanks!"
"Don't mention it." I gave a big grin.
"Hey, may I ask you something?"
"Hmm?"
"What's it with you and Riley?" Thomas looked at me so we stopped working for a while.
"Wh...what? Nothing. Nothing's happening."
"Don't lie..."
"I am not lying, Christian."
"He likes you though."
Bam.
"No he doesn't." I chuckled.
"He does like you. You hear me. I'm his bud."
"Can you be my bud too and we stop this thing?" I pouted at Thomas.
"Nope little girl, we're not done yet. He wants me to tell you that he likes you."
"Oh jeez, stop right there. Enough." I handed Thomas his drums sticks.
"Why? Don't you too?"
"Thomas!"
"Sam!"
"Thought you would be with me."
"I am with you, we're romantic couple, aren't we?" Thomas wrapped my shoulder and walked with me to the green room. "But my dude right there, he likes you since you hit that piano thing at Starbucks. So deal with it."
"I'm not gonna deal with anything." I pouted.
"You should. Because you love him too."
"You never know, Thomas." I warned him, punching his arms playfully but hey, the glare was a serious one.
"Let's see..." He whistled and left me in front of the green room. Wonderful.
"Hey! I was looking for you!" I turned around and saw Riley waved at me.
"Hi..." I returned the smile.
"Ready for the show, babe?" He kissed my cheek.
"Ri...stop..." I bowed my head.
"What? The show?"
I frozen for a while looking at his eyes. No he's not playing with me. Thomas might be serious. It's just me who can't decide what I want.
"Uh...no, nothing."
"Alright! Wait, I'm gonna change first!"
"Okay..."
I went to the stage, staring at the whole hall. Today's venue was pretty big. And I sit by the stage's corner. Gosh, I need a break.
