It started when Mathew was thinking about how much he still loved Elizabeth. Mathew had been thinking about his feelings for a bit, it started to become obvious to Cindy about what he was thinking. Eventually Cindy confronted him if he still had feelings for Elizabeth, he didn't want to lie and so he said "kinda" she was mad, because after that she posted a story on a app that they both use, she used his name and made it embarrassing for him. Matthew begged Cindy for her forgiveness, but she wouldn't let up and won't take down the story.
